arrival.\nLocation: Franschhoek, Western Cape\nProperty: 5-Star Hotel\nPosition: Reservations Agent\n Salary: R18,000 - R20,500 per month\nKey responsibilities\nHandle all incoming reservations enquiries via telephone, email and other booking channels.\nProcess individual and group reservations accurately and efficiently.\nProvide guests with detailed information regarding accommodation, rates, availability and hotel facilities.\nEnsure all reservations are correctly captured and maintained on the hotel’s reservations system.\nFollow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.\nManage amendments, cancellations and special requests professionally.\nCommunicate guest requirements and preferences clearly to the relevant hotel departments.\nMaintain accurate guest profiles and reservation records.\nAssist with upselling room categories, packages and additional hotel services where appropriate.\nMonitor availability and ensure bookings are managed in line with hotel revenue and occupancy strategies.\nHandle guest queries and resolve reservation-related concerns promptly and professionally.\nWork closely with Front Office, Revenue, Sales and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.\nMaintain a high level of service and professionalism at all times.\nRequirements\nPrevious experience in a hotel reservations role is essential.\nExperience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment is highly advantageous.\nStrong knowledge of hotel reservations procedures and systems.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.\nA confident and professional telephone manner.\nGood computer literacy and administrative skills.\nAbility to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.\nStrong guest relations skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.\nProfessional presentation and a proactive, service-driven approach.\nKnowledge of the Franschhoek and Winelands hospitality market would be
