They are looking for a Senior Credit Controller on a 3 months contract basis to lead the credit control function, drive collections, improve cash flow, and mentor a small team while ensuring effective debtor management across the business.\nThis role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by improving collections performance, strengthening credit processes, and working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the full credit control function and ensure timely collection of outstanding debt.\nLead and mentor the Credit Control team while monitoring performance and productivity.\nManage customer accounts, reconciliations, credit limits, and dispute resolution.\nProduce debtor reports, analyse ageing, and provide recommendations to management.\nReview and approve new credit applications in line with company policy.\nReduce debtor days while maintaining strong customer relationships.\nCollaborate with sales and operational teams to resolve account queries efficiently.\nEnsure month-end credit control processes are completed accurately and on time.\nJob Experience and Skills Required\n\nEducation\nMatric (Grade 12).\nCredit Management qualification or relevant Finance qualification will be advantageous.\nExperience\nMinimum 5 years' experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience.\nFreight, logistics, transport, cargo or related industry experience is highly advantageous.\nStrong understanding of debt collection strategies, reconciliations, customer account management, and credit risk.\nSkills\nExperience working on Accpac/Sage 300.\nExposure to Winfreight, Freight Easy or IVS will be advantageous.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel.\nExcellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nApply now!\nFor more exciting Finance vacancies, please visit: www..networkcontracting.co.za.\nIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
