you will be doing:Help shape frontend architecture and establish reusable development patterns across the team.\nMake technical decisions and communicate the reasoning, benefits and trade-offs behind them.\nDesign frontend applications and architecture that support scalability and long-term platform requirements.\nContribute to the ongoing frontend rewrite and the long-term technical direction of the platform.\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies and technical debt, and drive their resolution.\nDesign, build and maintain complex frontend applications using React.\nTake ownership of technical initiatives and projects from initial concept through to delivery.\nCollaborate with other engineers to deliver complex functionality.\nWork effectively within large and complex codebases.\nContribute to the broader technology stack as the team moves towards full-stack engineering.\nReview code and ensure adherence to development standards, design patterns and best practices.\nImprove development practices, code quality, application performance and maintainability.\nInvestigate complex technical problems and drive them through to resolution.\nCollaborate with backend engineers to establish clear boundaries between frontend and backend systems.\nIntegrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services.\nProvide practical technical guidance to other engineers.\nMentor intermediate engineers and assist them in resolving technical challenges.\nTake responsibility for specific technical areas to support team delivery.\nContribute to technical discussions, communicate technical recommendations and remain open to alternative approaches.\nParticipate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and help improve the team's technical capabilities.\nWhat we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.\nApproximately 7+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with ReactJS.\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.\nExperience designing and implementing frontend architecture at scale.\nDeep understanding of component architecture, state management and application structure.\nExperience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.\nStrong understanding of testing, application performance and maintainability.\nExperience working with large or complex codebases.\nStrong Git and code review experience.\nExperience applying software engineering standards, design patterns and best practices.\nAbility to identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and technical debt.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to make independent technical decisions and explain the reasoning behind them.\nExperience taking ownership of projects and technical initiatives from concept through to delivery.\nTechnical leadership experience, including guiding engineering decisions and improving development practices.\nCoaching and mentoring skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to collaborate with frontend and backend engineers in a delivery-focused environment.\nRelevant certifications in frontend or web development technologies.\nJava and Spring
