understanding of responsive layout, Flexbox, Grid, browser behaviour, theming and design tokens.\nEnsure frontend functionality works consistently across supported browsers, screen sizes and device classes.\nImplement appropriate automated tests and participate in release validation, regression testing and defect prevention.\nIdentify and resolve performance issues including unnecessary renders, large bundles, slow network interactions and inefficient data-fetching patterns.\nBuild secure interfaces that respect authentication, authorisation, session management and least-privilege principles.\nWork closely with Product, Design, Backend, Data and AI engineers to deliver complete end-to-end features.\nReview pull requests, improve coding standards and provide practical technical guidance to other frontend engineers.\nContribute to estimation, sprint planning, technical design, documentation and continuous improvement of the engineering process.\nTake responsibility for production quality: monitor issues, investigate root causes and improve the product rather than applying repeated short-term fixes.\nReact & TypeScriptStrong professional experience with React and modern functional component patterns.\nAdvanced TypeScript: interfaces/types, generics, discriminated unions, narrowing, utility types and type-safe API contracts.\nHooks, context, composition patterns, controlled/uncontrolled components and reusable component APIs.\nUnderstanding of rendering behaviour, memoisation, lifecycle effects, state ownership and avoiding unnecessary re-renders.\nHTML & CSSSemantic HTML5 and a strong understanding of browser layout and rendering.\nModern CSS including Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, media/container queries, CSS variables and maintainable styling conventions.\nAbility to reproduce high-fidelity product designs while preserving responsiveness and accessibility.\nComfort with CSS Modules, styled solutions or utility frameworks where appropriate, without depending on a framework to understand CSS.\nState, Data & Application ArchitectureStrong judgement on local state versus shared/application state.\nExperience with server-state/data-fetching patterns such as TanStack Query / React Query or equivalent.\nExperience with a suitable client state approach such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Context or equivalent when genuinely required.\nClean API integration, schema validation, typed contracts, caching, invalidation, pagination and asynchronous error handling.\nTesting & QualityUnit and component testing using tools such as Vitest/Jest and React Testing Library.\nEnd-to-end testing with Playwright, Cypress or equivalent for critical user journeys.\nAbility to design code for testability rather than
