Azure experience is advantageous but secondary.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership position, not a purely managerial role.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n1. Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace - PRIMARY FOCUS\nDesign, implement and manage enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.\n\nLead complex Microsoft 365 migration projects.\n\nExecute tenant-to-tenant migrations.\n\nManage Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.\n\nLead Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations.\n\nImplement and manage Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.\n\nConfigure Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions.\n\nDeploy and manage Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.\n\nImplement Microsoft 365 security, compliance and governance.\n\nTroubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 infrastructure and migration issues.\n\nDesign and deliver secure, scalable Modern Workplace solutions.\n\n2. Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership\nArchitect Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace solutions.\n\nTranslate business requirements into practical technical designs.\n\nLead enterprise migration and implementation projects.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.\n\nTake ownership of projects from initial assessment through to successful delivery.\n\nDevelop technical documentation, architecture diagrams and implementation plans.\n\nAct as a senior technical escalation point.\n\nEnsure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.\n\n3. Microsoft Infrastructure & Hybrid Environments\nManage Windows Server and Active Directory environments.\n\nImplement hybrid identity and directory synchronisation.\n\nConfigure DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and networking components.\n\nSupport Exchange Server and hybrid Exchange environments.\n\nTroubleshoot authentication, connectivity and infrastructure issues.\n\nImplement PowerShell scripting and automation.\n\nSupport backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.\n\n4. Microsoft Azure - SECONDARY FOCUS\nSupport Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.\n\nManage Azure virtual machines, storage and networking.\n\nAssist with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernisation.\n\nImplement Azure identity, security and governance solutions.\n\nSupport integration between Microsoft 365 and Azure services.\n\n5. Customer Engagement & Consulting\nEngage directly with enterprise customers and senior IT stakeholders.\n\nConduct technical discovery sessions and infrastructure assessments.\n\nPresent Microsoft 365 solution designs and recommendations.\n\nParticipate in technical workshops and pre-sales engagements.\n\nAct as a trusted technical adviser to customers.\n\nBuild strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.\n\nESSENTIAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS\nCandidates must have strong, hands-on experience in:\nMicrosoft 365 architecture, administration and implementation.\n\nEnterprise Microsoft 365 migrations.\n\nTenant-to-tenant migrations.\n\nExchange Online and hybrid Exchange.\n\nGoogle Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations.\n\nMicrosoft Entra ID and Active Directory.\n\nMicrosoft Intune and endpoint management.\n\nMicrosoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.\n\nMicrosoft 365 security, compliance and governance.\n\nWindows Server and essential.\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\nIdeally 8-10+ years of IT infrastructure and engineering experience.\n\nMinimum 5 years of strong Microsoft 365 engineering experience.\n\nProven experience delivering complex enterprise Microsoft 365 migrations.\n\nDemonstrated experience with tenant-to-tenant and hybrid Exchange migrations.\n\nStrong Microsoft infrastructure and Modern Workplace expertise.\n\nExperience working within an IT systems integrator, managed services provider or professional services environment.\n\nAbility to lead complex technical implementations.\n\nStrong customer-facing consulting experience.\n\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience mentoring and guiding technical teams.\n\nPREFERRED MICROSOFT CERTIFICATIONS\nMS-102:
