Service Manager Millwright

Job Description

• Lead field service and workshop operations for industrial compressors and blowers
• Manage service teams, supervisors and technical personnel
• Plan and prioritise breakdowns, preventative maintenance, overhauls and service projects
• Ensure high standards of technical quality, workmanship and service delivery
• Manage customer escalations and ensure clear, proactive communication
• Identify opportunities for repairs, rebuilds, parts, upgrades and service agreements
• Monitor service performance, turnaround times, labour utilisation and profitability
• Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement across service operations
• Oversee service reporting, job closure, parts requirements and warranty processes
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and maintenance standards

• 7-10+ years’ experience in industrial service, rotating equipment, workshop or field-service management
• Strong experience with compressors, blowers, vacuum systems or similar rotating equipment
• Proven leadership experience managing technical service teams
• Strong customer-facing and relationship management abilities
• Commercially minded with experience identifying and converting service opportunities
• Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple service demands while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

• Trade Tested Millwright - essential
• Management or supervisory training advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
