including carrying out periodic chemical dosing checks, maintenance of equipment, and overseeing the safe storage, decant, transport and use of chemicals on site. \n- Maintain detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for all hygiene cleaning activities to ensure required standards are met. \n- Conduct compliance audits/inspections of internal hygiene standards and documentation. \n- Support the Technical & QA teams in obtaining samples for testing and participating in microbiological investigations to drive improvements in site hygiene standards. \n- Provide training and awareness for all hygiene staff in all procedures (SOPs) relevant to their role. \n- Ensure all hygiene staff are trained and competent in all procedures relevant to their role. \n- Maintain authorised persons lists for each piece of equipment as required. \n- Conduct emergency response spill training for all relevant staff. \n- Ensure all tasks are conducted in accordance with all legislative, company and site health & safety policies, and ensure that all hazards, accidents/incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner. \n- Ensure material safety data sheets for all chemicals used on site are maintained, updated regularly, and are accessible to all staff. \n- Recruit, induct and develop competent employees. \n- Ensure all disciplinary incidents and staff absence are dealt with in a professional and timely manner and in accordance with company human resources policies. \n- Effectively communicate with all team members on a regular basis and provide opportunities for feedback and two-way communication. \n- Create an inspiring team environment where conflict and grievances are swiftly and sensitively dealt with. \n- Provide key performance indicator data as required and comply with all internal and external audit requirements. \n- Develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, management and other key stakeholders. \n- Drive continuous improvement in site standards. \n- Actively comply with and enforce all relevant statutory, company and site policies and procedures. \n- Create a high-performing team by setting clear team and individual goals/key performance indicators. \n- Motivate and coach the team. \n- Ensure understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures. \n- Identify technical issues in the factory and address timeously, or escalate to the Area Manager to ensure timely resolution. \n- Provide ongoing (daily/weekly, etc.) verbal and written (weekly site reports) feedback to management and the client. \n- Review and update relevant cleaning processes/documents in a timely manner. \n- Compile and submit reports and documentation to the Client, Management and/or HR as per agreed timelines. \n- Liaise with HR to ensure effective management of leave, grievances, discipline, training, and performance. \n- Attend audits and submit corrective actions where applicable in a timely manner. \n- Complete, submit and file records and documentation in an efficient manner. \n- Attend Client and Company meetings as and when required.\nAttributes:\n- Strong client service focus. \n- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients and motivate staff. \n- Well-organised with strong attention to detail. \n- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. \n- Flexible and adaptable. \n- Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.\nQualifications and Experience:\n- Completed Matric/Grade 12 certificate. \n- A tertiary qualification in a technical field will be an added advantage. \n- Extensive knowledge of hygiene cleaning processes, products, and supplies is essential.\n- At least 4 years' hygiene cleaning industry experience, two (2) of which must have been in a supervisory role. \n- Computer literacy (email and basic typing skills). \n- Must be willing to work overtime (including weekends and public holidays) and night shift. \n- Must be medically fit with the ability to lift/move heavy equipment, operate high-pressure hoses, and work at heights. \nOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
