This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can design and execute test cases, identify defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve software quality.\nThe ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of software testing experience, with strong exposure to desktop, web and API testing, test automation and defect management.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain manual and automated test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.\nExecute functional, integration, compatibility and regression testing to ensure software quality and stability.\nDevelop and maintain reusable automated test scripts using tools such as Postman and Node.js/Chai.\nIdentify, document, track and follow up on software defects to ensure timely resolution.\nTake ownership of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment, ensuring system stability and readiness.\nCollaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, user stories and system changes.\nMaintain accurate testing documentation, including test plans, results, defect reports and release notes.\nTrack testing activities, defects and progress using Azure DevOps.\nCommunicate testing outcomes, risks and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities to improve testing processes, efficiency and overall product quality.\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nMinimum of 5 years' experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.\nProven experience in both manual and automated software testing.\nPractical experience testing desktop applications, web applications and APIs.\nProficiency in testing tools such as Postman, Node.js/Chai and Azure DevOps.\nExperience in test case design, execution, defect tracking and troubleshooting.\nBasic knowledge of SQL, Internet Information Services (IIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nAdvantageous\nISTQB certification or other relevant software testing qualifications.\nPrevious experience within the IT or software development industry.\nHow to Apply\nIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please submit your updated CV via the application link provided.\nPlease note: Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
