installation, commissioning and fault finding of solar PV systems.\nExperience working with solar inverters.\nExperience with battery storage systems will be advantageous.\nAbility to use electrical testing equipment.\nGood understanding of electrical installations and fault finding.\nValid driver's licence.\nWillingness to travel to project sites\nDuties, but not limited to:\n Installation & Electrical Work\nInstall solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems and associated electrical equipment.\nRoute, terminate and connect electrical cabling in accordance with project specifications.\nEnsure installations comply with applicable electrical and safety standards.\nCommissioningPerform pre-commissioning inspections and testing.\nCommission and configure solar inverters and related equipment.\nConduct system start-up, testing and performance verification.\nAssist Engineers in ensuring systems perform according to design specifications.\nFault Finding & MaintenanceDiagnose and repair faults on solar PV systems, inverters and associated electrical equipment.\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance.\nReplace faulty electrical components where required.\nRespond to site call-outs and technical issues when necessary.\nQuality AssuranceIdentify and rectify installation defects before project handover.\nEnsure work complies with project specifications and company quality standards.\nAssist with final inspections and system handovers.\nSite & Project SupportConduct site inspections.\nAssist Engineers with technical evaluations and site activities.\nWork closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.\nMonitor workmanship and maintain high installation standards.\nDocumentation & ReportingComplete installation, commissioning and maintenance reports.\nRecord test results, faults and corrective actions.\nAssist with commissioning packs and project handover documentation.\nHealth & SafetyAdhere to all electrical regulations, company policies and health & safety procedures.\nWear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment.\nReport
