Structural Engineer

• Work on multiple projects, ensuring project objectives are achieved.
• Liaise effectively with Project Leaders, clients, stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Support Project Leaders with structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Execute conceptual designs, contribute to feasibility studies, and develop optimised and value-engineered structural solutions.
• Provide technical and design expertise on a variety of structural engineering projects.
• Utilise advanced proficiency in Prokon, Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software to deliver engineering solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and load-bearing structures.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their technical development and professional growth.
• Conduct site inspections and attend project and client meetings as required.
• Travel to project sites and client locations when necessary.

BEng/BSc Civil Engineering

ECSA Professional Registration (Pr. Eng), or Candidate to register as professional within the next year

3-5 years' structural engineering design and project experience

Experience with concrete, steel, and multi-storey commercial structures essential

Sound proficiency in Prokon and finite element analysis software

Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

Project management, time management, project support to multi-disciplinary teams, and client relationship skills - excellent communication skills and a Team Player

Valid driver's license and own vehicle, willingness and ability to travel to, and work on construction sites

Remuneration

Market related salary is negotiable monthly between R40,000 to R95,000 CTC pm (depending on qualifications, ECSA registration status and experience). Benefits include Medical Aid, Retirement Annuity and Group Life Insurance
