environment.Responsibilities:\nAssist in the development of structural designs for buildings and infrastructure projects.\n\nUse design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla to produce and revise technical drawings.\n\nConduct basic structural calculations under supervision to analyse loads, materials, and stability.\n\nSupport the detailing and engineering of façade systems, ensuring design intent is preserved when applicable.\n\nPrepare reports, specifications, and technical documentation in line with project and regulatory requirements.\n\nAttend site visits and inspections, supporting senior engineers in evaluating construction progress and quality.\n\nCollaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to address engineering challenges.\n\nProvide project assistance across all stages, from concept design to final construction and handover.\n\nParticipate actively in training and development opportunities to enhance engineering knowledge and skills.\n\nIntegrate sustainable and innovative design principles into engineering solutions where possible.\n\nSupport health and safety compliance across all phases of engineering and construction.\n\nRequirements:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or nearing completion).\n\nStrong interest or experience in structural design and analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.\n\nExposure to or interest in façade engineering or architectural detailing is advantageous.\n\nUnderstanding of basic engineering principles and South African building codes.\n\nWillingness to work in a remote/rural location (Sutherland, Northern Cape).\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\n\nAttention to detail and a willingness to learn.\n\nAbility to assist on-site and participate in inspections or construction support.\n\nEagerness to grow professionally under the mentorship of senior engineers.\n\nIf you meet
