The role focuses on translating customer and business requirements into robust engineering solutions and supporting the full product life cycle of complex defence systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead systems engineering activities across multiple defence projects\n\nTranslate client requirements into detailed technical specifications\n\nDevelop and maintain system documentation aligned with industry standards\n\nReview proposals and ensure technical teams meet contractual obligations\n\nSupport engineering and business development with backlog prioritisation\n\nConduct compliance reviews against defence industry standards\n\nFacilitate communication between engineering and business development teams\n\nLead technical reviews and ensure adherence to systems engineering processes\n\nPrepare accurate technical documentation for proposals\n\nPerform hands-on low-level design work when required\n\nContribute across the full product life cycle: concept, prototyping, design for manufacturing, industrialisation, testing, optimisation, safety certification, qualification, and integration\n\nAct as technical interface to customers\n\nCoordinate and participate in system integration and qualification testing\n\nRequired Competencies\nStrong understanding of defence systems and industry standards\n\nExtensive systems engineering experience\n\nSolid grasp of engineering principles for military-grade systems\n\nKnowledge of software development and project management processes\n\nExperience with compliance, quality standards, and defence specifications\n\nHands-on design capability across the full product life cycle\n\nQualifications & Experience\nB.Eng. in Computer, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering\n\n5+ years systems engineering experience (preferably defence/military)\n\n5+ years experience in military system development or environment\n\nStrong technical understanding of defence products;
