and upgrade IBM z/OS operating systems and related system software.\nPerform system-level problem determination and resolution, including root cause analysis.\nManage SMP/E software maintenance, system libraries, and system configurations.\nMonitor and tune system performance to ensure optimal availability and capacity.\nSupport system security controls, compliance standards, and audit requirements.\nParticipate in disaster recovery planning and testing.\nProvide 2nd and 3rd level support for z/OS system-related incidents.\nCollaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.\nMaintain accurate system documentation, procedures, and standards.\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nProven experience as a Systems Programmer supporting IBM z/OS environments.\nStrong knowledge of z/OS architecture, system utilities, and subsystems.\nExperience with SMP/E, system libraries, and software installations.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.\nStrong documentation and communication skills.\nPreferred Requirements\nExperience in large enterprise or public sector mainframe environments.\nKnowledge of mainframe security tools (e.g. RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret).\nExposure to capacity planning, performance tuning, and automation tools.\nRelevant IBM or mainframe-related certifications.\n Key Competencies\nAnalytical and
