The Technology Project Manager is accountable for planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, resource coordination, testing oversight, and implementation support to ensure projects achieve their intended\nbusiness outcomes.\nThis position plays a key role in supporting the company’s technology roadmap and digital transformation strategy by translating approved business requirements into successfully delivered solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, reduce manual processes, and drive business growth. The role supports the Technology & Projects Council process and works closely with Technology & Innovation, IT, Operations, Finance, HR, and external service providers to deliver strategic initiatives across the organisation\nRole purpose:\nThe Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering technology projects across the company and its associated brands. The role manages the end-to-end delivery of software development, systems implementation, process automation, digital transformation and operational technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives. The Technology Project Manager serves as the primary link between business stakeholders, Technology & Innovation, IT Operations, vendors and project teams. The role is responsible for driving project governance, managing risks and dependencies, coordinating resources, facilitating stakeholder engagement and ensuring solutions are successfully adopted by the business.\nKey responsibilities:\nProject delivery:\nLead multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation through to closure.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans and status reports.\nDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.\nMonitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that may affect delivery.\nEnsure projects follow approved PMO standards, methodologies and governance requirements.\nFacilitate project steering committees, workshops, stand-ups and stakeholder meetings.\nTrack project budgets, timelines and resource allocations.\nTechnology & software projects:\nManage software development and system implementation projects.\nCoordinate activities between developers, business analysts, testers, infrastructure teams and vendors.\nSupport Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches depending on project requirements.\nEnsure business requirements are translated into clear project deliverables.\nCoordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT and production readiness assessments.\nFacilitate solution deployment and transition into operational support.\nStakeholder management:\nBuild strong relationships with department heads, project sponsors and subject matter experts.\nManage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, timelines, risks and dependencies.\nPresent project updates to management committees, sponsors and governance forums.\nFacilitate resolution of project conflicts and competing priorities.\nProject Governance & PMO Support:\nEnsure compliance with project governance requirements and reporting standards.\nSupport the Technology & Projects Council process from intake through delivery.\nMaintain project documentation, approvals and audit trails.\nEscalate risks, issues and change requests appropriately.\nContribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates and standards.\nVendor & third-party management:\nCoordinate external service providers, implementation partners and software vendors.\nMonitor delivery against agreed scope, milestones and contractual obligations.\nSupport commercial discussions, statements of work and project-related procurement activities.\nManage vendor performance and escalation where required.\nChange management & adoption:\nCoordinate business readiness activities.\nSupport communication, training and stakeholder engagement plans.\nEnsure operational teams are prepared for new systems and processes.\nFacilitate project handovers into business operations and support teams.\nReporting & analytics:\nProduce accurate project reports, dashboards and executive summaries.\nMaintain project data within Microsoft 365 and approved PMO systems.\nTrack project benefits, milestones and delivery metrics.\nProvide visibility of resource utilisation, risks and delivery status.\nQualifications & experience:\nMinimum qualifications:\nDiploma or Degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science or related field.\nFormal project management training or certification desirable.\nMinimum experience\n5+ years project management experience.\nExperience delivering technology, software, systems or digital transformation projects.\nExperience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.\nExperience managing third-party vendors and implementation partners.\nExperience preparing executive-level reporting and presentations.\nHighly advantageous:\nExperience within retail, QSR, hospitality or multi-site operations.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 technologies.\nExperience with software development or application implementation projects.\nExperience managing Agile projects and development teams.\nPMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM or Scrum qualifications.\n Technical knowledge:Working knowledge of:\nSoftware Development Lifecycle
