The organisation delivers real-time fleet visibility, risk alert monitoring, and incident response coordination to clients across logistics and security-driven industries.\nThrough advanced tracking systems and structured reporting, the business plays a critical role in improving fleet safety, reducing operational risk, and supporting proactive decision-making.\nPurpose of the Role\nThe Tracking Controller will be responsible for real-time monitoring of vehicle movements, risk alerts, and tracking data, ensuring that all incidents are accurately identified, logged, and escalated where necessary.\nThis role forms part of a high-performance control room environment, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and confidence in working with Excel and tracking systems.\nKey Responsibilities Real-Time Monitoring & Control\nMonitor vehicle tracking systems and ensure continuous visibility of fleet movements\nIdentify and respond to high-risk alerts such as:Panic alerts\nRoute deviations / unauthorised stops\nSpeeding and driver behaviour alerts\nSystem irregularities (e.g. device disconnects)\n\nEscalate incidents in line with operational and security protocols\nIncident Management & Reporting\nLog, track, and manage incidents accurately in real time\nMaintain detailed tracking records and audit trails\nGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel\nAnalyse trends and highlight risk patterns or recurring issues\nSystem & Data Management\nEnsure tracking systems and platforms are operational and updated\nPerform routine checks to ensure data integrity and system accuracy\nMaintain organised and accurate records of all monitored activity\nCommunication & Coordination\nLiaise with internal teams, drivers, and stakeholders\nProvide timely updates on incidents and operational status\nSupport coordinated response to incidents when required\nShift-Based Operations\nWork 12-hour rotational shifts (day and night)\nMaintain high levels of focus and performance in a control room environment\nMinimum Requirements\nGrade 12 / Matric (essential)\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills (working with spreadsheets, data capturing, and reporting)\nAbility and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night)\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nGood communication skills\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced, operational environment\nAdvantageous Requirements\nPrevious experience in:Tracking / control room environments\nFleet monitoring or logistics operations\nSecurity or incident management environments\n\nPSIRA registration or security grading qualification\nExposure to vehicle tracking or telematics systems\nKey Skills\nVehicle tracking, Fleet monitoring, Incident management, Risk analysis, Microsoft Excel, Data reporting, Attention to detail, Communication, Problem solving, Time management\nPackage & Working Conditions\n Salary: R12,000 per month\nShift-based role (12-hour shifts)\nRotational day and night shifts\nOffice / control room environment\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nHighly disciplined and detail-oriented\nComfortable working with systems and data for extended periods\nCalm and composed under pressure\nReliable and consistent in a shift environment\nStrong sense of responsibility and accountability\nImportant Note\nThis role requires strong Excel capability and the ability to work in a structured, high-focus environment.
