The successful candidate will assist with organizing the logistics of the group to ensure smooth operation and that the requirements of the company are met. The successful candidate will report to the Transport Manager.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nThe successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:\n· Manage day to day transport service requirements.\n· Dispatching / Debriefing drivers.\n· Daily tracking reports and updates.\n· First point of contact for Drivers.\n· Ensure highest possible customer service levels.\n· Ensure that the fleet is in a roadworthy condition and conforms to company policy in terms of branding and cleanliness.\n· Oversee truck drivers, ensure and guide adherence to procedures.\n· Liaise with management in respect of any Driver related issues that arise.\n· Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.\n· Capture incident reports and distribute them timeously to all the stake holders.\n· Capture and report faults and breakdowns on trucks timeously.\n· Completion of accessories (Cell phones and Tag) forms and issue paperwork\n· Conducting monthly Cell and accessories audits and reports.\n· Submit daily check sheets to the administrators.\n· Booking of appointments for Drivers for medicals and HR meetings.\n· Ordering and issuing PPE for existing drivers.\n· Conducting truck and equipment audits.\nQUALIFYING EXPERIENCE\n· Grade 12 or equivalent\n· Minimum 3 -
