This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de Qualidade (QA) SR (Squad Crédito Consignado) based in Brazil.

This is a senior QA opportunity focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of complex financial products.

You will lead the testing strategy across functional and non-functional requirements, integrations, APIs, and critical customer journeys.

The role combines hands-on test execution and automation with a proactive approach to identifying risks before they reach production.

You will help establish quality standards, improve testing processes, and strengthen automation coverage across the product.

As a technical quality reference within the squad, you will collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other technology professionals.

Your work will have a direct impact on reducing defects, improving releases, and delivering more reliable experiences to customers.

Accountabilities

• Lead the product quality and testing strategy, including the analysis, planning, prioritization, and management of test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements, risks, integrations, and customer journey impacts.
• Define, develop, and continuously evolve the test automation strategy, prioritizing critical flows, APIs, integrations, applications, and digital journeys for automation.
• Take a proactive approach to quality by participating in refinement sessions and acceptance criteria definition, identifying risks and inconsistencies before development and helping reduce defects and rework.
• Ensure quality traceability and documentation by maintaining test scenarios, evidence, defects, acceptance criteria, execution results, and other information required for homologation, releases, and audits.
• Act as the squad's technical quality reference, supporting developers, Product Owners, and other team members in adopting quality best practices.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of defects and production incidents, proposing preventive measures and continuous improvements to processes, tools, and quality indicators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote reliable delivery practices across development, testing, integration, and release cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience analyzing requirements and product functionalities, including identifying risks and defining appropriate testing approaches.
• Strong experience creating and managing test scenarios, defects, improvements, functional specifications, and bug reports.
• Experience writing agile tests using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, or Playwright.
• Experience testing transactional and non-transactional databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs, including testing service-to-service integrations.
• Familiarity with quality engineering practices such as unit and integration testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
• Experience with messaging and queue management using technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience managing releases, GitLab version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Practical understanding of microservices architecture and communication between services.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, preferably within multidisciplinary squads.
• Familiarity with project and activity management tools such as Jira is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to act as a quality reference for both technical and business stakeholders.
