Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Auto Claims Specialist based in the United States.

As an Auto Claims Specialist, you’ll help healthcare providers recover revenue associated with accident-related medical claims.

You’ll investigate auto accidents, identify responsible payers, and communicate with patients, insurers, and attorneys.

The role combines high-volume outbound communication with detailed research, billing, and claims follow-up.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where organization and accuracy directly impact financial outcomes.

You’ll also investigate underpayments and denials, determine next steps, and resubmit documentation when needed.

Extensive training, ongoing coaching, and access to knowledge resources will support your success.

This is a fully remote opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, customer communication, and measurable performance goals.

Accountabilities

    • Make high-volume outbound calls to patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys to investigate accident and coverage details.
    • Research auto accidents and determine the appropriate insurance payer for medical claims.
    • Submit medical bills and supporting documentation to insurance companies accurately and efficiently.
    • Follow up on unpaid or incorrectly paid claims, identify resolution steps, and resubmit claims when additional payment is due.
    • Work to maximize claim payments and support revenue recovery for healthcare providers.
    • Prepare and contribute to denial reports, audits, and other team-support activities.
    • Manage multiple systems, screens, and applications simultaneously while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
    • Meet established performance and productivity metrics in a fast-paced outbound call-center environment.
    • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify efficient solutions to complex claims situations.
    • Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with patients, insurers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
    • Requirements

      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Strong technical proficiency and comfort working across multiple computer screens and software applications.
      • Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with defined productivity metrics.
      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
      • Familiarity with Coordination of Benefits and general insurance billing is a plus, but not required.
      • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining engaged and accountable to performance goals.
      • Ability to work from a private, distraction-free home workspace with a secure internet connection.
      • Home internet must provide download speeds above 20 Mbps and upload speeds above 10 Mbps.
      • Must be eligible to work in the United States and successfully complete employment history verification and a background check.
      • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota (CST), Tennessee, Texas (CST), Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, or West Virginia.
      • Benefits

        • Compensation of $15/hour plus an incentive plan.
        • Extensive multi-week training followed by continued support from teammates and management.
        • Access to a comprehensive knowledge base for ongoing learning and reference.
        • Individual performance metrics to help you track progress and set goals.
        • Company-provided computer and required work equipment, including laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, docking station, and headset.
        • Supportive management focused on helping employees achieve productivity and performance goals.
        • Fully remote work environment.
        • On-camera participation as part of the team’s communication and collaboration culture.
        • Work-from-home setup designed to support secure and productive operations.
