Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Clinical Operations Supervisor - Rural Health based in United States.

The Clinical Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day clinical and administrative operations supporting healthcare delivery across rural and geographically dispersed communities.

This role plays a meaningful part in helping Veterans and underserved populations access timely, high-quality care despite unique rural healthcare challenges.

You will coordinate staffing, scheduling, logistics, mobile health deployments, and community-based clinical partnerships to maintain reliable service delivery.

The position also drives clinical quality, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

You will work closely with clinical providers, program leaders, operational teams, community organizations, and federal stakeholders to improve performance and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines licensed nursing expertise with strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

With significant field travel and broad operational responsibility, this role offers the opportunity to directly influence healthcare accessibility and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

    • Serve as the on-site operational point of contact for rural healthcare program locations, including mobile health deployments and community-based clinic partnerships.
    • Coordinate scheduling, staffing coverage, logistics, and operational resources across geographically dispersed rural sites to support uninterrupted service delivery.
    • Collaborate with logistics, biomedical, and clinical teams to analyze inventory data, usage reports, and purchasing history, identifying trends such as chronic backorders, product waste, and inconsistent inventory levels.
    • Participate in healthcare-related special projects involving operational execution, regulatory requirements, and program improvement.
    • Assess rural barriers to healthcare access, including transportation challenges, broadband limitations, provider shortages, and cultural considerations, and develop practical mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure clinical operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, contractual requirements, CMS standards, and state medical practice requirements.
    • Maintain audit and inspection readiness by tracking protocol updates, managing required documentation, and coordinating corrective action plans with quality teams.
    • Support credentialing, licensure verification, and privileging activities for clinical personnel, including requirements related to telehealth and multi-state practice.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis of service delivery gaps, safety events, and patient experience concerns, developing and tracking improvement plans through resolution.
    • Analyze operational and business requirements and manage related projects designed to improve program outcomes, customer satisfaction, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
    • Prepare operational reports, executive briefings, performance dashboards, and other updates for program leadership and federal agency stakeholders.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Nursing, Life Sciences, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
      • At least 5 years of relevant clinical research or clinical operations experience; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
      • Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse license issued by a state Board of Nursing.
      • Graduation from a state-approved and accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
      • Ability to obtain and maintain requirements associated with the Nurse Licensure Compact for practice across applicable U.S. states.
      • Current ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
      • Demonstrated experience managing operations across distributed or rural locations, particularly within mobile health, telehealth, or community-based healthcare programs.
      • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks, including VA/DoD contracting requirements, HIPAA, and CMS Conditions of Participation.
      • Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as healthcare operations platforms and data reporting or dashboard tools.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex operational information to diverse audiences, including government and federal agency partners.
      • Ability to travel extensively, up to 50-75% of the time or according to business needs, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform responsibilities associated with field-based healthcare operations.
      • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are preferred.
      • Experience supporting federal healthcare contracts, VA disability examination programs, telehealth platforms, or multi-state telehealth regulatory requirements is preferred.
      • For the designated location, candidates should be based in Northern Arizona or the Phoenix area and within 50 miles of a major airport.
      • Benefits
