Delivery Lead Sênior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Delivery Lead Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a senior delivery leadership role focused on connecting strategic priorities with effective execution across multiple initiatives and squads.

You will own end-to-end governance of complex roadmaps, ensuring visibility into timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.

The role combines project governance, resource and capability planning, agile leadership, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with technical leaders, product teams, and senior stakeholders to structure teams and enable successful delivery.

Data-driven metrics such as Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, and CFD will guide continuous improvement initiatives.

You will also facilitate strategic planning and agile ceremonies, helping teams increase maturity, productivity, and predictability.

Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end governance of strategic initiatives and product roadmaps, maintaining visibility across timelines, priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Manage integrated schedules and proactively identify dependencies, risks, blockers, and opportunities across multiple squads and business areas.
• Structure and manage initiative boards, creating a transparent connection between day-to-day execution and strategic objectives, including OKRs and KPIs.
• Define team structures and squad configurations, clarifying roles, expected deliverables, success metrics, and workflow standards.
• Partner with Tech Leads, Architects, and other technical leaders to identify the capabilities and competencies required for successful delivery.
• Analyze productivity and flow-efficiency metrics, including Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, and Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD), identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Design and monitor continuous-improvement initiatives using the PDCA framework to increase operational efficiency and delivery effectiveness.
• Ensure high-quality execution of key project and agile rituals, including team and project kickoffs, Discovery sessions, Delivery meetings, and broader planning activities.
• Facilitate pre-work and large-scale planning ceremonies such as PI Planning, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans.
• Assess agile and project maturity periodically and turn findings into practical improvement plans for teams and delivery structures.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders, from operational teams through senior leadership.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, Agile Delivery Manager, or in a comparable project or product delivery leadership position.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or squads simultaneously and governing complex roadmaps with significant cross-team dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of project and workflow management platforms such as Businessmap, Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Monday, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of flow metrics and practical experience applying the PDCA continuous-improvement cycle.
• Experience facilitating large-scale collaborative sessions, including PI Planning, Discovery workshops, project kickoffs, and strategic planning ceremonies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across operational, technical, product, and executive levels.
• Strong stakeholder-management capabilities and confidence communicating complex delivery topics, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to work with data and operational metrics to identify bottlenecks, make informed decisions, and drive measurable improvements.
• Strong organizational skills, ownership, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced digital transformation environment.
• A collaborative, pragmatic, and continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to facilitate alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
