This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Delphi Pleno based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to work on the evolution of ERP solutions that support critical business operations across multiple industries.

You will contribute to both corrective and evolutionary development, building new features and improving existing functionality.

The role combines legacy code analysis with continuous modernization, requiring strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, QA professionals, and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.

Your work will directly contribute to system stability, performance, integrations, and the quality of customer-facing processes.

Accountabilities:

• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance across ERP system modules, ensuring stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop new functionalities based on functional and technical requirements, translating business needs into effective software solutions.
• Analyze and resolve bugs, investigating root causes and implementing solutions focused on application performance and reliability.
• Read, understand, and work effectively with existing and legacy Delphi codebases.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA professionals, and other developers to understand requirements and assess the impact of changes on customer operations.
• Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and development activities within an agile environment.
• Contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of the Delphi codebase, applying sound development practices.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations and support data exchange using appropriate integration patterns.
• Document code, processes, technical decisions, and functionalities clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience with Delphi 10.x or higher, including development and maintenance of business applications.
• Practical knowledge of Firebird and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, coding best practices, and source-code versioning with Git.
• Familiarity with visual components, forms, and business routines within ERP systems.
• Strong analytical ability to understand, troubleshoot, and evolve legacy code.
• Good communication, collaboration, ownership, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and understand how technical decisions affect business processes.
• Experience with the ACBr component package is a plus.
• Previous experience with ERP systems or fiscal modules such as NF-e, CT-e, SPED, ECD, or ECF is desirable.
• Knowledge of REST/JSON APIs and system integrations is an advantage.
• Interest in collaborating with areas such as Product, UX, and Data is valued.
