Developer .NET Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Developer .NET Senior based in Brazil.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in building and integrating complex backend software solutions within a highly collaborative environment. You will design, develop, and maintain reliable services and APIs while ensuring high standards of performance, quality, and scalability. Working with a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, you will contribute to projects where technology, innovation, and transformation are central to the work. The role combines hands-on engineering with opportunities to influence technical practices and support the growth of other developers. You will communicate regularly in English and collaborate across technical and business contexts. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, ensuring solutions meet functional, performance, and quality expectations.
• Implement, evolve, and maintain SOAP and REST APIs, following appropriate design, integration, versioning, and development best practices.
• Ensure service reliability through comprehensive unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Design and support integrations between different systems and services, applying appropriate software architecture patterns and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback and helping maintain consistent development standards across the team.
• Mentor and support junior developers, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and development practices that improve delivery efficiency, automation, reliability, and overall engineering quality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve existing solutions and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience developing production systems with .NET Framework and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of backend development principles.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience designing and integrating SOAP and RESTful services, with a strong understanding of API development practices.
• Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization and experience working with data exchange and integration formats.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, development best practices, and maintainable application architecture.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a distributed, multicultural environment.
• Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams, cultures, and levels of technical expertise.
• Adaptability and resilience when working with ambiguity, evolving requirements, and fast-paced delivery environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development is desirable.
• Previous experience working with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
