The Digital Ad Operations Associate plays a key role in executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with Client Service Account Managers, you will help ensure campaigns launch accurately, perform effectively, and deliver against client expectations. You will manage the campaign lifecycle from closed-won through renewal, handling creative, trafficking, scheduling, troubleshooting, and reporting-related needs. The role combines technical ad operations expertise with responsive client communication and strong attention to detail. You will work across ad servers, tracking technologies, email advertising systems, and campaign data to resolve issues and maintain smooth delivery. Accountabilities:
- Client and Campaign Communication: Communicate directly with clients to collect campaign assets, clarify advertising specifications, answer questions, and iterate ad copy where needed to improve campaign performance.
- Campaign Support: Respond promptly to client and internal requests, including questions and troubleshooting related to tracking, pacing, implementation, creative, and reporting.
- Creative Trafficking: Upload, test, and schedule advertising creative through ad servers, ensuring campaigns launch on time and achieve full delivery.
- Campaign Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Investigate delivery discrepancies and technical issues with clients, agencies, third-party platforms, and internal teams, coordinating effective resolutions through completion.
- Campaign Scheduling: Send reminders for upcoming scheduled advertisements and provide final creative previews to clients for approval before launch.
- Account Manager Partnership: Keep Account Managers and clients informed about campaign status, including creative received or outstanding, client requests, and campaign-level priorities.
- Customer Service: Support Account Managers in maintaining strong advertiser relationships by providing responsive, accurate, and high-quality campaign support.
- Creative Approval: Provide creative previews to Partner teams for association approval and ensure required campaign materials are available and properly reviewed.
- Campaign Success: Manage daily campaign execution according to established best practices, with a strong focus on campaign performance, ROI, accuracy, and successful client outcomes.
- Ad Operations Experience: Practical experience with digital advertising operations, campaign trafficking, creative management, and ad serving processes.
- Ad Technology: Proficiency with proprietary ad technology and familiarity with platforms and tools such as Salesforce, Litmus, and Real Time Email.
- HTML and CSS: Strong command of HTML and inline CSS, with the ability to work effectively with email and digital advertising creative.
- Ad Serving Knowledge: General understanding of ad-serving principles, common third-party ad servers, tags, and tracking, particularly as they relate to campaign pacing, volume, and revenue impact.
- Google Ad Manager: Familiarity with Google Ad Manager and digital campaign delivery workflows.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to investigate and resolve campaign implementation, tracking, delivery, and technical issues across multiple stakeholders and platforms.
- Accuracy and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and accurately at scale while managing a large portfolio of clients and multiple campaign priorities.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to respond clearly and promptly to requests.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with Account Managers, clients, agencies, third-party platforms, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Compensation: Expected salary range of $40,000-$45,000 annually.
