Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Project Management - CBX based in United States.

This senior leadership role will oversee the planning, execution, and operational delivery of a complex portfolio of technology infrastructure and connectivity projects.

You will establish scalable project management standards, systems, and processes that improve consistency, visibility, quality, and profitability.

The role combines portfolio-level strategy with hands-on leadership across project planning, installation, financial controls, risk management, and closeout.

You will lead and develop Project Managers and Senior Project Managers while creating clear accountability, priorities, and delivery standards.

Working across engineering, operations, finance, procurement, construction, customers, vendors, and technical partners, you will drive successful outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

You will also help scale project operations, strengthen vendor relationships, improve forecasting, and enhance the customer and resident connectivity experience.

This is an opportunity to shape a growing project management function while delivering high-impact infrastructure programs in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead the overall project management function across new developments, acquisitions, takeovers, conversions, managed Wi-Fi, low-voltage, and technology infrastructure projects.
    • Establish and enforce project delivery standards covering scope, schedules, milestones, ownership, budgets, vendor requirements, risk controls, communication cadences, and closeout criteria.
    • Lead, coach, mentor, and hold Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and other project team members accountable for delivery, performance, and professional development.
    • Exercise independent judgment to prioritize competing projects, evaluate risks, resolve complex issues, determine escalation requirements, and make decisions that balance customer, operational, financial, and business objectives.
    • Oversee end-to-end connectivity implementations, including wireless design coordination, low-voltage planning, ISP readiness, fiber delivery, hardware procurement, installation sequencing, site readiness, testing, quality control, and customer handoff.
    • Partner with engineering, operations, accounting, FP&A, procurement, development, construction, asset management, and customer-facing teams to align technical, financial, operational, and customer requirements.
    • Oversee project financial controls, including job costing, budget tracking, purchase order readiness, invoice support, cost variance analysis, reforecasting, revenue coordination, and margin awareness.
    • Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, ISPs, low-voltage providers, and other partners to ensure project readiness, appropriate resources, equipment availability, and successful delivery.
    • Develop scalable project management systems, tools, templates, reporting practices, documentation standards, meeting rhythms, and operating procedures.
    • Maintain clear and timely communication with executives, customers, vendors, property stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional partners regarding project status, risks, decisions, and next steps.
    • Proactively identify scope gaps, design conflicts, procurement delays, vendor performance issues, construction dependencies, quality concerns, budget impacts, and operational handoff risks, developing mitigation and escalation plans as needed.
    • Oversee wireless design coordination and low-voltage quality control, ensuring teams have the technical information, documentation, standards, and stakeholder alignment required for successful implementation.
    • Drive consistent project closeout, including final documentation, punch-list completion, testing results, customer handoff materials, support transition details, lessons learned, and internal records.
    • Develop and monitor project KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and post-project reviews to improve forecasting, accountability, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, property teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and support scalable growth.
    • Partner with leadership on project management priorities, growth strategy, customer commitments, profitability objectives, operational capacity, and long-term business planning.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce delivery friction, strengthen quality control, standardize workflows, and improve project transparency and customer experience.
    • Support contracting, scope review, budgeting, and pre-project planning by providing delivery expertise, risk assessments, and operational recommendations.
    • Represent the project management function in executive meetings, customer discussions, vendor negotiations, project escalations, and other high-priority stakeholder engagements.
    • Travel as needed for project planning, vendor coordination, site readiness, installation oversight, customer meetings, quality control, escalations, and project closeout.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
      • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, construction management, technology implementation, managed services, telecommunications, low-voltage infrastructure, infrastructure deployment, or a related field.
      • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including managing, coaching, developing, and holding project management professionals accountable for performance and delivery.
      • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site or multi-stakeholder projects from planning through execution, installation, quality control, closeout, and operational handoff.
      • Strong experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, subcontractors, customer expectations, documentation, and cross-functional dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.
      • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project controls, risk and issue management, change management, resource planning, process improvement, stakeholder communication, and operational reporting.
      • Ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, prioritize competing demands, resolve escalations, and balance customer, financial, operational, and business considerations.
      • Experience working closely with finance, accounting, procurement, operations, construction, technical teams, vendors, customers, and executive stakeholders.
      • Working knowledge of managed Wi-Fi, low-voltage infrastructure, networking environments, access points, switches, cabling, ISP coordination, MDF/IDF requirements, wireless design, or related technology infrastructure.
      • Experience with project management, reporting, documentation, collaboration, and wireless design tools; experience with Ekahau or similar wireless planning tools is preferred.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical, financial, project, and operational information into clear recommendations and executive-level updates.
      • Proven ability to lead through influence, build trusted relationships, manage competing priorities, drive accountability, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
      • Experience within MDU, student housing, multifamily, build-to-rent, residential internet, managed Wi-Fi, telecommunications, construction technology, or managed services environments is highly valued.
      • Experience scaling a project management function, establishing PMO practices, standardizing tools and templates, and implementing operating rhythms is preferred.
      • Certifications such as PMP, Cisco, Ruckus, Ekahau, networking, construction management, or related credentials are a plus.
      • Experience improving project profitability, vendor performance, job costing, delivery risk, cost efficiency, or schedule performance is advantageous.
      • Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and a strategic yet hands-on leadership style are preferred.
      • Benefits:

        • Base salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 per year.
        • Competitive compensation reflecting qualifications, experience, skills, certifications, seniority, geographic location, and business needs.
        • Potential eligibility for additional compensation, including bonuses, commissions, stipends, or other incentives depending on the role and performance.
