Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition based in United States.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional to build and lead a scalable recruiting function.

You will own enterprise-wide recruiting strategy and execution across salaried and hourly roles in a multi-site organization.

The role combines hands-on team leadership with strategic workforce planning, sourcing, systems optimization, and operational excellence.

You will lead a team of four Talent Acquisition Partners while establishing the processes, metrics, and infrastructure needed for continued growth.

Working closely with senior executives and business leaders, you will use data and market insights to shape hiring decisions and priorities.

You will also elevate candidate experience, employer branding, recruiting technology, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is an opportunity to build a modern, high-performing talent function while making a meaningful impact in the animal health industry.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Talent Acquisition Partners, establishing clear goals, workload allocation, development plans, and performance metrics across full-lifecycle recruiting.
    • Own the enterprise recruiting strategy, translating workforce plans, budgeted headcount, and business growth objectives into actionable hiring plans across multiple locations and role types.
    • Establish a scalable hiring governance model covering prioritization, capacity planning, escalation paths, and recruiting workflows.
    • Build and execute sourcing strategies using direct outreach, employee referrals, employer branding, schools, professional associations, community partnerships, and other talent channels.
    • Strengthen the organization’s employer brand by partnering with internal communications and tailoring messaging to different labor markets.
    • Own and continuously improve the applicant tracking system, including configuration, workflows, reporting, automation, and data quality.
    • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting cadences that provide leadership with clear visibility into pipeline health, time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance, and other recruiting metrics.
    • Design and continuously improve the end-to-end candidate experience, establishing high standards for communication, responsiveness, consistency, and care.
    • Partner with senior leaders, site leadership, functional teams, and hiring managers to define role requirements, improve hiring processes, and provide informed talent-market guidance.
    • Manage recruiting projects, agencies, contractors, vendors, and external partners as needed while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and team capacity.
    • Monitor labor market conditions and provide actionable insights that support workforce planning and strategic hiring decisions.
    • Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, recruiting operations, technology, candidate experience, and cross-functional processes.
    • Requirements:

      • 10+ years of professional talent acquisition experience, including at least 5 years leading and developing recruiting teams.
      • Proven success managing full-lifecycle recruiting organizations from intake and sourcing through offer and onboarding handoff.
      • Demonstrated ability to build and scale sourcing strategies that maintain strong, high-quality talent pipelines across multiple locations and role families.
      • Hands-on experience with enterprise ATS platforms, with Greenhouse experience preferred, including workflow configuration, reporting, automation, and optimization.
      • Strong understanding of recruiting analytics and the ability to create dashboards and scorecards that turn hiring data into actionable business decisions.
      • Experience designing or significantly improving end-to-end candidate experiences and recruiting processes.
      • Strong business partnership skills, with the executive presence and credibility to influence senior leaders and hiring managers outside of HR.
      • Experience establishing or improving recruiting governance frameworks, capacity planning, and operational processes.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
      • Experience recruiting in pharmacy, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated environment is preferred.
      • Experience operating in competitive or talent-constrained labor markets is a plus.
      • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational execution.
      • Strong coaching, communication, relationship-building, and change-management skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented leadership style.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive base salary of $150,000-$180,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility.
        • Comprehensive health insurance and benefits.
        • Paid time off and retirement benefits.
        • Remote work environment, with preference for candidates located near one of the organization’s sites.
        • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
        • Supportive, team-first culture where contributions are recognized and valued.
        • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on animal health and the well-being of pets.
        • High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the future of the talent acquisition function.
