Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dispatcher based in the United States.

This role is responsible for coordinating emergency and non-emergency service requests across a 24/365 service environment.

You will assess incoming requests, determine priorities, and coordinate technicians and field teams to support timely resolutions.

The position requires calm, empathetic communication and sound judgment when handling urgent equipment or site issues.

You will work across field-service and customer-management systems while maintaining accurate records and clear communication.

The role combines customer service, dispatch coordination, troubleshooting, and operational problem-solving.

You will collaborate with technicians, customers, site teams, and management to maintain service quality and contractual response standards.

This is a remote opportunity for eligible candidates, with occasional travel to local CNG and LNG stations.

Accountabilities

    • Receive, evaluate, prioritize, and manage emergency and non-emergency service requests from customers, technicians, and operating sites through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.

    • Assess equipment-related issues and communicate the nature, urgency, and required response clearly to technicians and field management.

    • Dispatch and coordinate field resources while following established procedures, customer service-level agreements, and call-center protocols.

    • Exercise independent judgment when setting priorities and escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams or management.

    • Maintain calm, empathetic, and professional communication during high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.

    • Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in field-service, customer relationship, and dispatch management systems.

    • Use Microsoft Office and relevant operational software to support scheduling, documentation, reporting, and data-entry activities.

    • Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders through phone calls, emails, text messages, and chats.

    • Identify practical solutions that balance customer needs, technician availability, operational requirements, and service commitments.

    • Support a 24/365 service environment, including scheduled after-hours, weekend, and occasional holiday coverage.

    • Contribute to process improvements and develop effective alternatives when standard approaches do not fully address operational needs.

    • Travel approximately 10-25% to local CNG and LNG stations as required.

    • Follow all applicable safety procedures, operating guidelines, and service protocols while performing assigned responsibilities.

    • Requirements

      • College degree with approximately 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

      • Previous dispatching experience, with an understanding of mechanics and compressor operations, is preferred.

      • Experience with field service, maintenance management, or dispatch software is an advantage.

      • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Field Service Operations, or comparable systems is preferred.

      • Strong computer, data-entry, and multitasking abilities, including typing proficiency of approximately 45-50 words per minute.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely.

      • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and related documentation.

      • Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple variables and make sound decisions in standardized and changing situations.

      • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and follow-through.

      • Ability to remain composed and empathetic when managing urgent requests or challenging customer situations.

      • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, field management, and other departments.

      • Demonstrated initiative, persistence, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.

      • Ability to work within a 24/365 call-center environment, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours periods.

      • Valid driver's license required.

      • Certified training will be provided and must be successfully completed.

      • Ability to occasionally travel to operational sites and perform duties involving walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.

      • Benefits

        • Annual hourly compensation of $23.00-$25.00 per hour.

        • Remote work opportunity for candidates located outside the headquarters area, subject to eligibility.

        • Full-time schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM Pacific Time.

        • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

        • 401(k) plan.

        • Life insurance.

        • AD&D insurance.

        • Additional employee benefits and programs may be available.

        • Opportunity to contribute to a mission focused on reducing transportation-related emissions and supporting cleaner fueling solutions.

        • Structured training provided as part of the role.
