Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ELD Specialist based in Italy.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an ELD Specialist to support safe, compliant, and efficient transportation operations. You’ll serve as a key technical resource for drivers, dispatchers, and fleet teams, helping resolve ELD issues quickly and effectively. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with regulatory knowledge across Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and Hours of Service (HOS). You’ll monitor ELD data, identify compliance exceptions, and support reporting requirements. You’ll also contribute to training, process improvements, and stronger fleet-wide compliance practices. This is a fast-paced, international environment where adaptability, communication, and operational ownership are highly valued.

Accountabilities

    • Provide first-line technical support for ELD hardware, software, connectivity, and related technology issues, guiding users through troubleshooting and resolution.
    • Support drivers, dispatchers, and fleet managers with ELD-related questions and ensure issues are handled promptly, professionally, and accurately.
    • Monitor ELD data for compliance, identify exceptions, and prepare reports required for safety audits and FMCSA requirements.
    • Train drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams on ELD usage, Hours of Service requirements, electronic log maintenance, and compliance best practices.
    • Communicate with ELD vendors and internal technology teams to document, escalate, and resolve recurring technical issues.
    • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state ELD regulations and help ensure operational practices remain compliant with changing requirements.
    • Contribute to continuous improvements in ELD processes, compliance monitoring, reporting, and support workflows.
    • Promote safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across transportation operations while adapting to new technologies and regulatory changes.
    • Requirements

      • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with ELD systems or related technology within trucking, logistics, transportation, or a similar environment.
      • Strong understanding of FMCSA ELD regulations and Hours of Service rules.
      • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability, with the confidence to diagnose ELD issues and guide drivers or other end users through practical solutions.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
      • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
      • Familiarity with major ELD vendors, telematics platforms, and ELD-related technologies is preferred.
      • Experience preparing ELD compliance, safety, or incident reports is an advantage.
      • Previous experience training adult learners or supporting driver training programs is a plus.
      • Bi- or multilingual communication skills are highly valued.
      • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with geographically distributed teams.
      • Resourceful, adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to finding practical solutions while maintaining high compliance standards.
      • Benefits

        • Competitive salary package.
        • Paid time off (PTO).
        • Fully remote work environment.
        • Supportive, collaborative, and internationally diverse team.
        • Ongoing training in ELD technology, compliance, and transportation operations.
        • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
        • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on fleet safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
