Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finance Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core financial operations within a growing, evolving business.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, reporting, and financial analysis while partnering closely with senior leadership.

A major focus will be transforming the finance function through stronger systems, processes, controls, and reporting structures.

You will play a key role in consolidating multiple financial systems into a unified platform designed to support long-term growth.

The position combines hands-on financial management with strategic business partnership across clients, projects, and internal teams.

Success will require strong analytical judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to build scalable solutions in an environment with evolving infrastructure.

This is an influential opportunity to help shape how finance operates while directly supporting business performance and expansion.

Accountabilities

    • Own the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts, ensuring financial plans remain aligned with business objectives.
    • Manage end-to-end invoicing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual requirements.
    • Analyze financial run rates, project costs, margins, and performance to provide actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.
    • Prepare financial reporting packages and deliver ad hoc analysis to support business and strategic decisions.
    • Lead a company-wide finance transformation initiative, consolidating multiple systems into a unified financial platform.
    • Design and implement scalable financial systems, controls, standard operating procedures, and reporting frameworks.
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, increasing efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
    • Manage financial activities for designated entities or client groups, including billing, cost tracking, and reporting.
    • Partner with operations and project teams to provide financial oversight, monitor project costs, and support client engagements.
    • Provide financial support for project-based and on-site activities, including cost tracking, analysis, and reporting.
    • Collaborate across business units and support opportunities to expand relationships across service lines.
    • Act as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership, providing analysis, recommendations, and insights that inform business decisions.
    • Participate in leadership planning and strategic discussions while supporting broader finance initiatives as the business expands.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
      • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a finance management position, preferably within real estate services, construction, facilities management, or another project-based environment.
      • Demonstrated experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing at the company or business-unit level.
      • Proven ability to design, improve, and implement financial systems, processes, and controls rather than simply operating within established frameworks.
      • Experience working effectively in growth-stage or evolving environments where financial infrastructure and processes are still being developed.
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
      • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
      • Experience supporting or leading financial system implementations or migrations is preferred.
      • CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional certification is preferred.
      • Familiarity with construction, commissioning, facilities management, or similar operational environments is an advantage.
      • Experience working with global or multi-entity finance operations is preferred.
      • Benefits

        • Base salary of $90,000-$110,000 annually, with final compensation determined by skills, experience, education, market, location, and other job-related factors.
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with enrollment available from the first day of employment and coverage beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
        • 8 company-paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and paid time off.
        • Employer-supported 401(k) with immediate 100% vesting, including a 3% employer match and a 50% match on the next 2%.
        • Health Savings Account and access to mental health resources and wellness support.
        • Gym discounts and additional wellness-related programs.
        • Employee Assistance Program available to all employees, regardless of benefits enrollment.
        • Discounted group life and AD&D insurance.
        • Discounted short-term and long-term disability coverage.
        • Discounted legal services, home and auto insurance, pet insurance, and identity theft protection.
        • Parental leave and additional programs designed to support employees and their families.
        • Remote work flexibility with some travel required.
        • Opportunity to influence finance transformation, build scalable infrastructure, and work closely with senior leadership in a growing business.
