Accountabilities:
The role focuses on leading frontend engineering initiatives, defining scalable architectures, and ensuring the quality and performance of core digital platforms. The professional will contribute to technical decisions, collaborate with multiple teams, and promote best practices across frontend development.
- Lead frontend technical initiatives, driving architecture decisions and ensuring alignment with scalability, performance, and maintainability goals.
- Define and implement React development standards, patterns, and best practices across projects.
- Design and evolve microfrontend architectures, enabling independent deployments, team autonomy, and scalable application development.
- Ensure application quality through performance optimization, security practices, monitoring, and continuous improvements.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor frontend engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver consistent and innovative digital experiences.
- Support the evolution of frontend platforms through modern technologies, automation, and AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced frontend specialist with strong expertise in modern React ecosystems, distributed frontend architectures, and performance optimization. The role requires technical leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to influence engineering practices.
- Advanced experience with ReactJS, including React 18+, Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, Suspense, Error Boundaries, and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Micro Frontends architecture, including Single-SPA, Import Maps, lazy loading, distributed systems, and independent deployments.
- Proven experience optimizing web performance through Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP), Lighthouse, code splitting, tree shaking, caching strategies, and CDN usage.
- Experience with technical SEO for React applications, including SSR, SSG, structured data, Search Console, and optimization for AI-driven search experiences.
- Familiarity with Figma Dev Mode, Design Tokens, component libraries, Design Systems, and design-oriented development workflows.
- Experience applying AI tools in software development, such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, and automation solutions for coding, testing, and documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
