iCIMS Integration Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an iCIMS Integration Developer based in India.

This role is ideal for a developer who wants to work at the intersection of HR technology, integrations, and enterprise systems.

You will develop and customize solutions within the iCIMS platform while connecting it with critical HR and business applications.

Your work will help improve recruitment workflows, user experience, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

The position combines hands-on development with troubleshooting, technical support, documentation, and continuous platform improvement.

You’ll work remotely in a full-time contractor capacity within a collaborative and technically focused environment.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the iCIMS platform to address business and recruitment requirements.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between iCIMS and third-party HR systems, including payroll, benefits, performance management, and HRIS platforms.
• Develop and customize workflows, forms, templates, and other platform components to improve recruitment processes and user experience.
• Gather and analyze technical requirements in collaboration with HR teams, IT stakeholders, and other business partners, translating them into effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs while ensuring reliable data exchange between systems.
• Investigate and resolve platform and integration issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining stable recruitment operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and internal team members when required.
• Maintain clear technical documentation covering integrations, configurations, custom solutions, and operational processes.
• Monitor iCIMS product updates, new functionality, and industry best practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform performance, scalability, reliability, and overall effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience with the iCIMS platform, including configuration, customization, and solution development.
• Strong knowledge of iCIMS architecture and the ability to design solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Practical experience with REST and SOAP APIs and third-party system integrations.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and integrating HR technology systems is highly valuable.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues independently.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
• iCIMS development certification or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
• Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements relevant to HR technology is desirable.
