Inside Sales Agent

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Inside Sales Agent based in Canada.

As an Inside Sales Agent, you’ll play a direct role in connecting homeowners with qualified in-home consultation opportunities. You’ll manage a high-volume mix of inbound and outbound calls while building rapport and creating positive customer interactions. The role is highly goal-oriented, with clear performance expectations and strong earning potential through uncapped commissions. You’ll follow proven sales scripts while keeping conversations natural, professional, and engaging. Success in this position requires resilience, urgency, and the ability to learn from each interaction and continuously improve. This is a fully remote, mid-level opportunity suited to motivated professionals who enjoy measurable goals and want their performance to directly influence their earnings.

Accountabilities:

• Make a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, completing 200+ calls per day while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Schedule approximately 8-10 qualified appointments per day for in-home Design Consultants, ensuring appointments meet established qualification standards.
• Follow established sales scripts and processes while adapting conversations naturally to each homeowner’s needs and circumstances.
• Build rapport quickly with customers over the phone, creating positive interactions that encourage engagement and appointment completion.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally while maintaining confidence and momentum throughout conversations.
• Work consistently toward individual performance goals, track results, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, conversion, and overall sales performance.
• Demonstrate urgency and resilience in a fast-paced environment, responding constructively to rejection and quickly moving forward to the next opportunity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, such as sales, customer service, call centre operations, appointment setting, or another phone-based role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage customers professionally and persuasively over the phone.
• A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets, with a goal-oriented mindset and motivation to continuously improve results.
• Strong resilience and the ability to handle rejection, objections, and challenging conversations while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and keep customer conversations engaging while working within established scripts and processes.
• Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently and remain productive in a fully remote environment.
• A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to a collaborative culture while taking ownership of individual performance.
• Comfort working a rotating schedule within the required operating hours, including either a Sunday-to-Thursday or Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule.
• Candidates should be based in Canada, with the position listed as remote from Vancouver, British Columbia.
