Interface Solutions Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Interface Solutions Architect based in India.

This is a senior architecture role focused on shaping the frontend technology strategy for enterprise-scale digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You’ll define architectural direction while partnering with product, design, engineering, CMS, and platform teams to deliver scalable and engaging interfaces. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring solutions meet high standards for security, accessibility, performance, and maintainability. You’ll contribute to architectural governance, modernize technology practices, and introduce emerging capabilities such as AI-driven interfaces and automation. You’ll also mentor engineers and architects, helping establish a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Working with global, cross-functional teams, you’ll translate complex technical concepts into practical decisions and outcomes. Accountabilities:

• Define and execute frontend architecture strategies that support business growth, product innovation, and enterprise technology objectives.
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of resilient, scalable, high-performing frontend solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Establish and promote frontend architecture standards, patterns, principles, and development best practices as part of broader architectural governance.
• Partner with product owners, UX and UI designers, frontend and backend engineers, CMS teams, and business stakeholders to create cohesive, inclusive, user-centred digital experiences.
• Drive the adoption of modern frontend frameworks, technologies, tools, development methodologies, and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise CMS teams, including Adobe Experience Manager or comparable platforms, to deliver scalable, content-driven digital experiences.
• Design and oversee integrations between frontend applications and enterprise platforms such as CMS, CRM, ERP, and other business systems.
• Ensure frontend solutions consistently meet requirements for security, accessibility, performance, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Identify and introduce practical innovations, including AI-powered interfaces, automation, advanced analytics, and other emerging technologies.
• Communicate architectural decisions, technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop frontend engineers and architects, encouraging knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
• Champion accessibility, digital inclusion, and user-centred design across digital products and platforms.
• Stay current with evolving frontend technologies and industry practices, assessing their potential value and applicability to the organization.

Requirements:

• Extensive professional experience architecting and delivering enterprise-grade frontend solutions across web and/or mobile applications.
• Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS/Sass, and Webpack.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or equivalent content management technologies.
• Proven experience integrating frontend applications with enterprise platforms such as AEM, Salesforce, SAP, or comparable systems.
• Strong knowledge of frontend security, accessibility standards, performance optimization, responsive design, and user experience principles.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance approaches such as TOGAF.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, architects, and high-performing development teams.
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with geographically distributed, cross-functional, and global teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities, with the confidence to explain complex architecture and technical trade-offs to diverse audiences.
• Curiosity and a strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI, automation, analytics, and data-driven digital products.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities and technologies continually evolve.
• Strong commitment to responsible technology, accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and user-focused digital experiences.

• Willingness to work onsite in Bangalore, India, as this position does not offer hybrid or remote working.
