The Lead Full Stack Developer will take ownership of the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of a modern e-commerce technology ecosystem.
This hands-on technical leadership role combines software engineering expertise with strategic thinking to build scalable solutions that support business growth.
You will lead the evolution of a high-performing digital commerce platform while collaborating with teams across operations, marketing, customer experience, and business leadership.

Accountabilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and ongoing enhancement of a Shopify Plus platform and its supporting technology ecosystem.
- Design and implement scalable full-stack applications, custom themes, applications, checkout experiences, and third-party integrations.
- Establish engineering best practices, improve development processes, and mentor developers across technical initiatives.
- Build and maintain integrations between e-commerce platforms and business systems, including ERP, CRM, WMS, payment, shipping, and marketing solutions.
- Develop automation tools and internal applications that improve inventory management, product workflows, fulfillment operations, and business efficiency.
- Optimize website performance, security, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals to deliver a fast, reliable, and user-friendly shopping experience.
- Enhance the customer journey through improvements to navigation, search, product pages, subscriptions, loyalty features, checkout processes, and customer accounts.
- Leverage analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to improve conversion rates and continuously enhance the digital experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technical solutions aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with proven experience leading complex technical projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience building scalable data-driven applications.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and deployment automation.
- Proven ability to design secure, maintainable, and scalable software architectures.
- Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, WMS, payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical leadership abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
