Mid Level React Native/ IOS Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid Level React Native/IOS Developer based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity to build and evolve mobile experiences within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

You will work across React Native and native iOS development, using Swift to deliver robust and scalable mobile functionality.

The position offers significant autonomy in technical refinement, implementation, and solution design.

You will also help drive the adoption of AI-powered development practices to accelerate delivery and improve engineering efficiency.

Quality, automation, modularization, and continuous delivery are central to the role and its impact on the development team.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, platform optimization, and technical discussions that shape the evolution of the product.

The role is well suited to an adaptable developer who enjoys solving complex problems and working across native and cross-platform technologies.

Accountabilities:

• Develop complex features and mechanisms, moving confidently between iOS development with Swift and React Native.
• Design, implement, and evolve mobile functionality with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Identify and propose improvements and optimizations to the client's mobile platform.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted coding and development solutions using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Apply AI development practices appropriately to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality and reliability.
• Participate in technical refinement and solution-detailing activities, contributing independently to technical decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and use static analysis and automated testing to help ensure the quality of team deliveries.
• Act as a champion of Continuous Delivery by promoting technical discussions, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the evolution of the squad.
• Apply engineering best practices focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, and sustainable delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and actively participate in team ceremonies and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• Strong practical experience with React Native.
• Hands-on experience developing iOS applications using Swift.
• Ability to work comfortably across native iOS development and React Native.
• Practical experience using AI-powered development and coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of Spec-Driven Development (SDD).
• Experience developing Brownfield mobile applications, integrating native and cross-platform modules into existing applications.
• Experience with the New Architecture of React Native, including Fabric, TurboModules, and JSI.
• Experience with Re.Pack for React Native application bundling and modularization.
• Knowledge of modularization principles and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of Java and Objective-C is desirable.
• Willingness to learn or experience with Android development using Kotlin is a plus.
• Resilience and adaptability when working in complex or changing environments.
• Strong autonomy, technical problem-solving ability, and willingness to contribute to engineering decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
