Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mortgage Claims Supervisor based in United States.

You will coach and develop team members, monitor performance, and respond effectively to changing business volumes and priorities. Your work will also contribute to improving processes, strengthening data integrity, and maintaining high standards across the claims lifecycle. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced mortgage professional who enjoys solving complex issues, developing people, and driving operational excellence.

Accountabilities:

    • Supervise and direct the Claims Department, ensuring activities comply with internal policies, investor guidelines, insurer requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
    • Lead, coach, and motivate team members through goal setting, performance management, training, and ongoing development.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and maintain performance scorecards for direct reports.
    • Monitor internal and external audit findings and ensure claims are prepared and filed according to applicable investor, agency, and insurer requirements.
    • Review and approve departmental responses to quality reviews and internal or external audits.
    • Support the implementation and development of procedures designed to improve efficiency, quality, and operational consistency.
    • Monitor changing daily, weekly, and monthly claim volumes and adjust resources and priorities to maintain department performance.
    • Prepare loan status information and operational updates for scheduled client calls and management reviews.
    • Review system exception reports to identify data integrity issues, recurring trends, and opportunities for corrective action.
    • Resolve escalated issues raised by team members within the supervisor's area of responsibility, making sound and timely decisions.
    • Facilitate and support training programs for new and existing employees.
    • Collaborate with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to maximize outcomes for homeowners and maintain strong service standards.
    • Perform additional related duties as required to support business and departmental objectives.
    • Requirements:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • 6+ years of experience in default mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance claims, mortgage operations, and/or a related legal environment.
      • At least 2 years of supervisory or people-management experience.
      • Strong knowledge of mortgage industry practices and claims processing requirements associated with HUD, Freddie Mac (FHLMC), Fannie Mae (FNMA), and VA programs.
      • Strong understanding of foreclosure processes and applicable servicing and investor guidelines.
      • Experience with LPS-MSP or comparable mortgage servicing platforms.
      • Strong leadership, coaching, team-management, and employee-development capabilities.
      • Ability to motivate employees, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance effectively.
      • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing workloads.
      • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, investigate issues, and resolve operational problems.
      • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of accuracy.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and business partners.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
      • Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
      • Benefits:
