Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Personal Injury Records Coordinator based in Mexico.

As a Personal Injury Records Coordinator, you will play an essential role in keeping legal cases organized, complete, and ready for evaluation. You will work closely with attorneys and case managers to gather medical records, police reports, investigative materials, and other critical evidence. Your attention to detail will help identify missing or inconsistent information before it impacts case progress. The role combines records retrieval, file auditing, follow-up, and administrative coordination in a remote environment. You will communicate with medical providers, agencies, records custodians, and other external stakeholders to secure the documentation needed. This is an opportunity for an organized, proactive professional to make a meaningful contribution to successful personal injury case development.

Accountabilities

    • Support attorneys and case managers with case preparation, file development, and administrative projects.
    • Obtain, coordinate, and monitor requests for medical records, police reports, investigative materials, video evidence, body camera footage, and other relevant documentation.
    • Communicate professionally with medical providers, government agencies, records custodians, and external stakeholders to obtain required records.
    • Track outstanding documentation requests and conduct timely, persistent follow-ups through completion.
    • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic case files.
    • Review and audit files to ensure all required records, evidence, and documentation are present, accurate, and properly organized.
    • Identify missing, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent information and take appropriate action to resolve documentation gaps.
    • Document the status of records and evidence requests accurately and escalate delays, obstacles, or issues when necessary.
    • Review case information and proactively identify additional evidence or documentation that could strengthen case development.
    • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and independently drive tasks through to completion.
    • Collaborate with the broader legal team to ensure cases continue progressing efficiently.
    • Requirements

      • At least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, records retriever, records manager, or records coordinator.
      • Previous personal injury experience is required.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
      • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
      • Experience with case file auditing, records retrieval, and evidence collection.
      • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify gaps and inconsistencies in documentation.
      • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, persistence, and resourcefulness.
      • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
      • Adaptability and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Availability to work remotely while aligned with Eastern Standard/Eastern Daylight Time (EST/EDT).
      • Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM EST/EDT.
      • Expected call volume: light to moderate.
      • Familiarity with FileVine, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Workspace is preferred/required for the role.
      • Location: Chile, working remotely.
      • Benefits

        • Monthly compensation ranging from USD $1,142 to $1,220.
        • 100% remote, home-based position.
        • Full-time, long-term career opportunity.
        • Paid time off.
        • Performance bonuses.
        • Parental leave.
        • Professional development and training opportunities.
        • Dedicated team support.
        • Opportunity to work in an environment aligned with strong professional and client-focused values.
