Product Owner
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner based in Brazil.
This is a remote opportunity for a Product Owner to drive the evolution of digital products in an agile environment. You will act as the key connection between business needs, customer expectations, and technology teams. The role focuses on maximizing product value through clear requirements, strategic backlog prioritization, and strong stakeholder alignment. You will help translate business objectives into actionable product requirements and guide delivery teams toward meaningful outcomes. Success in this position requires strong organization, analytical thinking, communication, and a customer-focused mindset. You will work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders while helping shape a clear and impactful product vision.
Accountabilities
Create, organize, refine, and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring priorities reflect business value and user needs.
Translate business and customer requirements into clear User Stories and objective, detailed acceptance criteria for development teams.
Prioritize features and tasks based on ROI, urgency, customer impact, and broader business objectives.
Act as the primary connection between product, business, marketing, support, leadership, and technology stakeholders, managing expectations and gathering feedback.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Communicate product objectives and expected outcomes clearly, ensuring development teams understand the purpose and value behind each delivery.
Support a strong product vision and maintain alignment between strategic objectives, customer needs, and delivery priorities.
Use product data and feedback to support decision-making and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
Previous experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in digital product management.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs according to business value, user needs, and measurable outcomes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate business concepts into clear technical requirements.
Strong analytical capabilities and confidence using data and product metrics to support decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align different interests and manage expectations.
Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented.
Empathy for users and a strong understanding of customer-centered product development.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
