Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager based in India.

This is a mission-driven opportunity to oversee healthcare programs that expand access to safe, comprehensive cleft care across India.

You will serve as a key relationship manager for partner hospitals, healthcare professionals, and implementation teams across multiple locations.

The role combines program delivery, quality assurance, compliance, stakeholder management, and performance monitoring.

You will use program data and field insights to identify gaps, strengthen partner capabilities, and improve outcomes.

With approximately 40-50% travel, including to remote and field locations, you will work closely with partners on the ground.

The position offers significant autonomy while collaborating with regional, medical, communications, and operational teams.

Your work will directly contribute to stronger healthcare systems and better outcomes for children affected by cleft conditions.

    • Program implementation: Oversee program delivery across the assigned geographic area, conduct monitoring visits, assess performance and patient-care standards, identify implementation gaps, and coordinate improvements with partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Quality and compliance: Monitor adherence to safety, reporting, documentation, branding, and program requirements; facilitate audits and quality reviews; track corrective actions; and support the appropriate management and escalation of patient complaints and significant incidents.
    • Capacity building: Support the onboarding of new partners and practitioners, facilitate training initiatives and workshops, and work with medical advisors and subject-matter experts to strengthen partner capabilities and program quality.
    • Financial management: Monitor partner budget utilization, review funding applications against program guidelines, and support financial audits and follow-up actions where required.
    • Communications and representation: Represent the program at partner meetings, training sessions, and relevant events while supporting awareness initiatives, partner engagement, patient stories, case studies, and adherence to communication guidelines.
    • Monitoring and evaluation: Track program performance and outcomes through reporting systems and key indicators, analyze data to identify operational challenges and opportunities, and provide regular insights and updates to regional leadership.
    • Cross-functional coordination: Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, manage competing priorities, improve processes, and ensure programs remain aligned with broader strategic objectives.
    • Requirements

      • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
      • Relevant experience: 6-8 years of experience managing or implementing programs within public health, healthcare, nonprofit, development, or related sectors.
      • Healthcare program expertise: Demonstrated experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, hospital networks, public health programs, or other healthcare institutions, ideally across multiple sites.
      • Partnership management: Proven ability to manage implementation partners, build collaborative relationships, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and maintain effective communication across organizations.
      • Program delivery: Strong experience in program implementation, monitoring, reporting, compliance, quality assurance, and operational improvement.
      • Data and analytical skills: Ability to analyze program performance data, identify implementation gaps, monitor key indicators, and translate findings into practical improvements and decisions.
      • Project management: Strong program and project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage timelines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
      • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
      • Problem-solving: Strong analytical, decision-making, solution-oriented, and issue-resolution capabilities.
      • Technical proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management, reporting, dashboard, or data-management tools.
      • Sector experience: Experience with national or international public health programs, maternal and child health, surgical care, healthcare systems strengthening, NGOs, INGOs, or donor-funded programs is an advantage.
      • Field readiness: Willingness and ability to travel frequently-approximately 40-50% of the time-including visits to partner hospitals, program sites, and remote districts across assigned states.
      • Personal competencies: Demonstrates ownership, emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, transparency, adaptability, collaboration, and a strong commitment to shared accountability and mission-driven work.
      • Benefits

        • Gross annual compensation of INR 19,20,000 to INR 21,00,000, with the final offer based on qualifications, relevant experience, and salary history.
        • Full-time remote position based in India.

        • Exposure to national and international public health, healthcare delivery, and systems-strengthening initiatives.
        • Approximately 40-50% field travel, providing direct engagement with partner hospitals and program sites.
        • Inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven working environment.
        • Equal-opportunity workplace committed to diversity and inclusion.
        • Professional development through collaboration with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and subject-matter experts.
