Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Director, Evaluation and Measurement Strategy based in the United States.

This role will lead the development of evaluation strategies, data frameworks, and performance measurement systems that demonstrate the impact of education-focused programs and initiatives. You will combine applied research, statistical analysis, data visualization, and strategic planning to turn complex information into actionable insights. The position will oversee evaluation methodologies, automated dashboards, research studies, and performance metrics across multiple projects and service portfolios. You will work closely with internal teams, external research partners, funders, and cross-functional stakeholders to align strategy, operations, and measurable outcomes. The role offers an opportunity to influence K-12 education through rigorous evidence, scalable data systems, and continuous program improvement. You will also help translate technical findings into compelling reports, funding materials, and decision-making tools for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Accountabilities:

    • Develop theory of change models and logic frameworks that connect inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes while establishing KPIs, implementation fidelity measures, and ROI tracking.
    • Lead research design for programs and initiatives, including longitudinal studies, control groups, and other methodologies used to demonstrate measurable and sustainable impact.
    • Serve as a primary research liaison for strategic partners, aligning evaluation approaches with program objectives, outcomes, and stakeholder requirements.
    • Develop and maintain internal evaluation systems to assess program fidelity, implementation quality, operational effectiveness, and the performance of new and existing initiatives.
    • Build self-service dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI to monitor organizational performance, operational health, and key outcomes.
    • Streamline and automate data collection processes using SQL and advanced survey platforms such as Qualtrics.
    • Collaborate on scalable and cost-effective ETL and data transformation pipelines that support efficient and, where appropriate, real-time reporting.
    • Ensure data systems, software, and analytical tools align with applicable security, privacy, and data governance requirements.
    • Conduct advanced statistical analyses using R, Python, and/or SPSS to evaluate program efficacy and identify broader trends within education.
    • Produce academic-quality reports, technical documentation, and evaluation materials required for grant compliance, institutional stakeholders, and funding proposals.
    • Translate complex statistical findings into clear, compelling, pitch-ready insights and visualizations for Business Development, Partnerships, funders, and other non-technical audiences.
    • Identify performance gaps and use evaluation findings to inform continuous innovation across programs and services.
    • Facilitate the development, alignment, and tracking of OKRs across teams, ensuring strategic objectives are supported by measurable outcomes.
    • Monitor quantitative and qualitative performance indicators to support external evaluations, internal performance management, and continuous improvement.
    • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while overseeing external contractors and maintaining high standards for quality, timelines, and adaptability.
    • Proactively communicate project status, identify and mitigate risks, and motivate cross-functional teams toward key milestones and organizational impact goals.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure information is shared effectively throughout project lifecycles.
    • Contribute to a collaborative culture through active listening, clear communication, continuous learning, and effective use of collaboration tools such as Slack and Asana.
    • Monitor and report progress against relevant individual and team impact goals.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, statistics, data science, mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
      • 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, data science, performance measurement, evaluation, or related fields.
      • Strong experience developing evaluation frameworks, performance measurement systems, and data strategies.
      • Proven experience with data warehouses, data transformation tools, relational databases, and technical documentation.
      • Strong proficiency in statistical programming and analysis using R, Python, and/or SPSS.
      • Demonstrated expertise in advanced research methodologies, including longitudinal studies, control groups, and rigorous program evaluation.
      • Extensive experience designing interactive, self-service dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Power BI; experience with Google Data Studio or Grafana is a plus.
      • Experience using SQL and survey platforms such as Qualtrics to streamline data collection and reporting.
      • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and Google BigQuery, as well as API integrations.
      • Deep knowledge of logic models, ROI measurement, implementation fidelity, and OKR methodologies.
      • Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing competing priorities, external contractors, timelines, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders.
      • Familiarity with K-12 education technology systems and relevant data privacy practices and regulations.
      • Experience with tools such as Asana, Salesforce, and Microsoft or Google productivity suites.
      • Exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to produce academic-grade reports and grant-compliance documentation.
      • Strong ability to translate complex research and statistical findings into accessible insights for business, partnership, funding, and non-technical audiences.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong relationship-building and collaboration capabilities.
      • Ability to work effectively across functional teams and with external research partners and stakeholders.
      • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with research, data, evaluation, and education-sector trends.
      • Strong interest in improving learning systems and expanding access to effective educational experiences.
      • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams, keep projects moving, and ensure goals are achieved.
      • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with extensive computer use and online communication.
      • Willingness to travel at least four times per year for in-person meetings and an annual staff retreat, with travel of up to 15% depending on role requirements.
      • Availability for occasional work outside normal business hours, including evenings or weekends when required.
