Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager-Corporate Office IT & AV Upgrades based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact IT infrastructure and audiovisual upgrade projects across corporate office environments nationwide.

You will manage projects from initiation through completion, spanning planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

The position combines technical project management, client consulting, construction coordination, and technology delivery.

You will work directly with clients to define scope, budgets, schedules, resources, quality standards, and risk strategies.

The environment is highly collaborative, bringing together architects, engineers, technology teams, vendors, and contractors.

Success requires strong commercial judgment, technical understanding, and the ability to keep complex projects moving forward.

With exposure to diverse projects and stakeholders, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact on modern workplace environments.

Accountabilities:

    • Manage end-to-end project delivery for technical commercial real estate initiatives, including IT infrastructure construction, office relocations, new builds, restacks, technology upgrades, and audiovisual improvements.
    • Partner directly with clients to establish project scope, delivery resources, budgets, cost estimates, schedules, milestones, quality expectations, and risk-management plans.
    • Collaborate with project teams to document IT requirements and define appropriate technology solutions across network, voice/data, wireless, telephony, audiovisual, security, and related infrastructure.
    • Lead resource selection by working with pre-qualified providers, managing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and recommending vendors, contractors, and other delivery partners.
    • Establish and maintain project documentation governance aligned with client and organizational requirements, ensuring project data is accurate, complete, timely, and well coordinated.
    • Direct architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and other project contributors by providing clear expectations, mentorship, guidance, and accountability.
    • Develop action plans to maintain project objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality standards, while tracking progress and communicating status, risks, and variances to stakeholders.
    • Identify project threats early and develop mitigation and contingency strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
    • Apply project management principles and technical knowledge to resolve complex challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.
    • Mentor colleagues, share subject-matter expertise, build consensus among stakeholders, and promote collaborative decision-making throughout project delivery.
    • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, service, and excellence while managing client relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5-8 years of relevant project management experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
      • PMP, LEED AP, and/or CCM certification is preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience managing IT construction projects involving network design and setup, voice/data cabling, telephony, wireless infrastructure, audiovisual systems, access control and security monitoring, or sound masking.
      • General knowledge of commercial leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and project documentation.
      • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, quality control, and construction coordination.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project.
      • Strong client-facing, communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
      • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage several project priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
      • Comfortable identifying risks, making informed decisions, resolving conflicts, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
      • Ability to work effectively in changing environments and adapt project plans to evolving client requirements.
      • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
      • Willingness to travel overnight throughout the United States, with travel of up to approximately 25% depending on project requirements.
      • Ability to accommodate on-site presence requirements that may change according to client needs.
      • Benefits

        • Healthy, productive, and flexible working environment designed to support work-life balance.
        • Opportunities to work on diverse, high-profile IT infrastructure, technology, and corporate workplace projects.
        • Collaborative environment with opportunities to work alongside clients, architects, engineers, technology specialists, vendors, and contractors.
        • Professional development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and exposure to complex project environments.
        • Opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects across corporate real estate and workplace technology.
        • Inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives and encourages employees to make an impact.
        • Confidential handling of candidate information in accordance with applicable employment and EEO guidelines.
