This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Technical Training Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape technical training strategy across a rapidly growing, field-based technology and data center environment.

You will lead initiatives that strengthen technical capabilities, certifications, compliance, and career development across multiple locations.

Working closely with operational, project, engineering, and quality teams, you will identify skills gaps and build scalable learning programs.

The role combines strategic program leadership with hands-on collaboration across geographically dispersed field teams.

You will help establish consistent training standards while supporting customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.

Success will depend on your ability to develop people, measure training effectiveness, and foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced technical training leader who thrives in high-growth construction, structured cabling, or data center environments.

Accountabilities

    • Develop and execute the organization-wide technical training strategy across applicable US operations, ensuring programs align with business objectives, operational requirements, and career pathways.
    • Partner with quality, project, field, engineering, and operational leadership to identify training gaps and establish priorities for workforce development.
    • Lead cross-functional training programs that promote consistent technical standards, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

    • Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise related to training requirements, industry standards, customer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
    • Support regional field leadership in developing and maintaining awareness of technical career paths and progression opportunities.
    • Oversee onboarding, certification, and skills-development programs for new and existing employees, including BICSI and customer-specific requirements.
    • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to continuously improve technical career pathways and ensure training programs address identified quality and performance needs.
    • Establish, monitor, and report KPIs and other metrics to measure training effectiveness, employee development, compliance, and program performance.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop technical training teams across multiple locations, promoting accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
    • Champion a culture of safety, continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
    • Maintain strong relationships with employees and leaders at all organizational levels to support consistent training adoption and workforce development.
    • Promote positive workplace practices and organizational values while supporting a collaborative, people-focused culture.
    • Travel as required to support regional operations, training programs, field teams, and business needs.
    • Requirements

      • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
      • Five or more years of progressively responsible training management leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

      • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and field-based operations.
      • Strong understanding of BICSI standards, ANSI/TIA codes, electrical and communications best practices, and technical training requirements.
      • Extensive knowledge of training frameworks, regulatory standards, technical practices, and workforce development principles.
      • BICSI, RCDD, PMP, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience building and scaling training programs within high-growth, operationally complex, and field-based environments.
