SAP BRIM FICA Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP BRIM FICA Consultant based in India.

This is a senior SAP consulting opportunity focused on data analysis, financial processes, billing, and subscription management within complex enterprise environments.

You will work across key SAP BRIM components, including Subscription Order Management, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA.

The role combines functional analysis, data mapping, migration support, reporting, reconciliation, and quality assurance.

You will collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, S/4HANA specialists, data architects, integration teams, developers, and business stakeholders.

Your work will help ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant billing and financial data across enterprise systems.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives, from data preparation and testing through migration, cutover, and production support.

It is well suited to an analytical and detail-oriented SAP professional who can translate business requirements into robust data and functional solutions.

Accountabilities

• Analyze SAP BRIM data structures and business processes across Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).
• Support data activities related to customer accounts, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, payments, and receivables management, including identifying and resolving data-quality issues.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, validation procedures, reconciliation documentation, data dictionaries, functional specifications, and operational procedures.
• Analyze legacy data and support migration into SAP BRIM, covering extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, mock conversions, cutover, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with migration architects, SAP BRIM and S/4HANA consultants, data architects, integration teams, and technical developers to resolve migration and integration issues.
• Support billing, revenue, invoicing, customer account, financial reconciliation, and operational reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc business analysis.
• Gather and document business, data, and reporting requirements, facilitate workshops, analyze processes, and translate business needs into functional data specifications.
• Support data integration and reconciliation between SAP BRIM and related enterprise systems while ensuring the consistency and integrity of billing and financial information.
• Develop and execute data validation scripts, test scenarios, UAT, and reconciliation testing, while supporting defect tracking, issue analysis, and resolution.
• Validate end-to-end data flows and reporting outputs against business, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Support enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to data-quality standards and audit requirements.
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, knowledge transfer, and training related to SAP BRIM data and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities for process and data-quality improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP data analysis, reporting, or functional support, with at least 4 years of direct experience supporting SAP BRIM or related SAP billing environments.
• Strong experience with enterprise billing, invoicing, subscription management, customer accounts, and receivables-related processes.
• Solid understanding of SAP BRIM data structures and business processes, including SOM, CC, CI, and FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, reconciliation, data mapping, transformation, validation, and data-quality management.
• Strong knowledge of reporting and analytics processes and financial reconciliation concepts.
• Experience working with SQL and data analysis tools, SAP reporting tools, and SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Ability to create and maintain functional specifications, testing documentation, data governance materials, and reporting definitions.
• Experience supporting UAT, reconciliation testing, defect management, and end-to-end data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex data issues and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence facilitating workshops and requirements discussions.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP Data Services (BODS).
