Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A based in Canada.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a remote-first finance organization focused on data-driven decision-making.

You’ll help shape operating models, forecasts, reporting, and financial analysis that guide strategic business priorities.

The role combines financial expertise with advanced data analysis and emerging AI capabilities.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and stakeholders across the organization to strengthen planning and performance management.

Your insights will help leaders understand business performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.

You’ll also have meaningful ownership over improving reporting processes, tools, metrics, and workflows.

This is a high-impact role for a curious, analytical professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear business recommendations.

Accountabilities

    • Build and maintain driver-based operating models connected to key business assumptions, including headcount, ARR growth, and pipeline performance.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis covering budgets, forecasts, monthly and quarterly performance, annual planning, and variance analysis.
    • Research historical, current, and projected financial data to support planning, forecasting, and management decision-making.
    • Champion the adoption of AI and LLM-powered workflows across the finance team by identifying valuable use cases, establishing best practices, and promoting knowledge sharing.
    • Apply AI tools to data analysis, insight generation, and financial commentary to improve accuracy, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain automated reporting and dashboards that monitor key SaaS metrics and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
    • Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations teams to improve data integrity, consistency, definitions, and reporting across systems.
    • Drive improvements to planning processes, reporting cadences, analytical tools, and financial workflows.
    • Build strong relationships across the organization, aligning stakeholders around assumptions, metrics, and business narratives.
    • Support broader strategic initiatives and contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, finance, business analytics, or another data-focused role.
      • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to build sophisticated financial models.
      • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and translating them into meaningful insights.
      • Strong financial analysis skills, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, SaaS metrics, and performance reporting.
      • Experience using data visualization, reporting, automation, or dashboarding tools to improve financial decision-making.
      • Practical experience with AI or LLM-powered tools, with an interest in applying emerging technology to finance and analytical workflows.
      • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate financial findings into clear business recommendations.
      • Excellent attention to detail, analytical judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities.
      • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities.
      • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and encourage adoption of new tools and ways of working.
      • A professional and up-to-date LinkedIn profile is expected upon joining, reflecting the new role and maintaining a consistent professional presence.
      • Benefits

        • Base salary: CA$72,000-CA$90,000, depending on experience; additional bonus, benefits, and equity may form part of the total compensation package.

        • Community initiatives: Volunteer days, a Donate Your Day program, and educational lunch-and-learn opportunities.
        • Growth and development: An environment that prioritizes both professional and personal development.
