(Senior) Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst based in Canada.

Accountabilities

• Act as a technically knowledgeable voice for business stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of client organizations, processes, and challenges.
• Analyze business needs and work closely with clients to identify, structure, and document system and technology requirements.
• Translate business requirements and complex technical concepts into clear, understandable information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements, priorities, and proposed solutions remain aligned.
• Build expertise in client-specific topics and industries through thorough analysis and continuous engagement with relevant business areas.
• Apply strategic consulting approaches and analytical methods to identify and solve important client problems.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of digital strategies by connecting strategic objectives with practical technology solutions.
• Take increasing ownership of projects, client relationships, and responsibilities as your experience develops.
• Support the broader team with entrepreneurial thinking, collaboration, and a continuous focus on delivering meaningful client outcomes.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical or business-related discipline, such as Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management with an IT focus, or a comparable field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting or a consulting-related position.
• Strong analytical abilities and genuine curiosity about understanding complex business topics in depth.
• Ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar client environments, processes, and subject areas.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements and technical concepts clearly for different audiences.
• Structured and strategic approach to problem solving, with the ability to understand both business objectives and technology implications.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in taking ownership and progressively assuming greater responsibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Initial experience in people management or team leadership is considered an advantage.
