As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation programs with meaningful operational and customer impact. You will work across business and technology teams to uncover complex requirements, assess opportunities, and translate business needs into practical, value-driven solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will facilitate collaboration, challenge assumptions, and help stakeholders navigate competing priorities. You will contribute to governance, delivery assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Your analysis will help improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. Accountabilities
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and management of complex business and stakeholder requirements across strategic initiatives and programs.
- Provide expert business analysis advice and evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making, solution design, and broader organisational objectives.
- Develop high-quality business analysis artefacts in line with organisational standards, project requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, negotiations, and engagement activities to gather information, build alignment, and resolve competing priorities.
- Assess business impacts, risks, dependencies, and potential solution options to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value and positive customer outcomes.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, subject matter experts, delivery teams, and end users to ensure proposed solutions are practical, valuable, and implementable.
- Support development and testing activities by clarifying requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and contributing to business user acceptance testing.
- Act as the lead Business Analysis representative on large, complex, or high-risk projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation, including senior decision-makers.
- Provide regular and accurate updates on project activities, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and emerging issues.
- Maintain accurate project information, records, reporting tools, and management systems in accordance with governance and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Apply appropriate business analysis and delivery practices across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project environments.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, preferably across large-scale, strategic, transformation, or complex project environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing complex business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess business impacts, risks, dependencies, and solution options.
- Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, including the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, negotiate competing priorities, build consensus, and maintain strong relationships across business and technical teams.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, recommendations, and practical solutions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Experience working in government, regulated, or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Experience with Workday or Power BI is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IIBA-AAC are highly regarded.
