Senior Business Analyst - BT

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - BT based in the United States.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to improve technology supporting student success.

You’ll translate complex operational needs into scalable Salesforce solutions and meaningful system enhancements.

The role combines requirements gathering, process analysis, Agile delivery, and stakeholder partnership.

You’ll identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience.

Working closely with Product Owners, developers, QA, and business teams, you’ll help turn ideas into measurable outcomes.

Your analysis will support more efficient operations and better experiences for university partners and students.

Accountabilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into Salesforce solutions, configurations, system designs, and actionable user stories.
• Evaluate existing Salesforce solutions, processes, and user behaviors to identify opportunities for improved automation, reporting, usability, adoption, and data integrity.
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions that appropriately balance Salesforce standard functionality with the need for customization.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories within an Agile framework and collaborate with development teams to clarify scope, resolve concerns, and support delivery.
• Track system issues, develop recommendations, coordinate resolution, and help ensure business processes and technology operate reliably.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps based on stakeholder interviews and detailed process analysis.
• Partner with QA teams to define test cases, validate system changes, and ensure delivered enhancements meet business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and translate reporting needs into actionable requirements that support informed decision-making.
• Manage multiple concurrent priorities and contribute effectively to cross-functional initiatives with competing deadlines and stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships across the organization, communicate complex concepts clearly, influence decisions, and ensure technology solutions remain aligned with business priorities.
• Support continuous improvements that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, Salesforce adoption, and outcomes for university partners and students.

Requirements

• Bring 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or technical support, including hands-on experience translating business needs into Salesforce solutions.
• Demonstrate strong experience gathering, documenting, and translating requirements into user stories within Agile delivery environments.
• Have experience partnering closely with software development and QA teams to support Salesforce enhancements from requirements through testing and delivery.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, process-mapping, documentation, and requirements-management skills.
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or have equivalent professional experience; a Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, reporting, data management, or administration beyond core business analysis responsibilities is highly valued.
• Experience in higher education, education technology, student success, or environments supporting university partners and learners is a plus.
• Experience supporting business transformation, process evolution, user adoption, or technology-enabled efficiency initiatives is desirable.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and their application to improve productivity, processes, or organizational scale is beneficial.
• Bring 1-2 years of experience specifically performing at a Senior Business Analyst level, preferably in a complex, cross-functional environment.
