Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Collections Strategy Analyst based in United States.

This is a highly visible individual-contributor role focused on developing the analytics and strategy that drive performance across pre-charge-off and post-charge-off recovery operations. You will build reporting frameworks, testing programs, and performance insights spanning third-party agencies, dialer strategy, digital communications, settlements, and hardship programs. The role combines rigorous quantitative analysis with hands-on strategy development and cross-functional execution. You will work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, and Collections leadership to turn complex data into actionable decisions. Success requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively when processes and infrastructure are still being built. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on portfolio performance while supporting fair, compliant, and effective borrower recovery strategies.

Accountabilities:

    • Build a comprehensive analytics framework for the recovery program, covering debt sales, third-party agency outsourcing, debt settlement company performance, and other key recovery channels.
    • Design, test, and continuously optimize dialer strategies for pre-charge-off delinquent accounts, including contact cadence, prioritization logic, treatment sequencing, and channel strategy.
    • Establish a rigorous test-and-learn approach to collections strategy by structuring experiments, comparing treatment options, analyzing results, and translating findings into measurable improvements.
    • Build and maintain quarterly business review materials for third-party collection agencies, establishing meaningful KPIs, performance reporting, and regular review processes to monitor and improve agency effectiveness.
    • Own and evolve digital communication strategies across email, SMS, and AI-powered voice channels, balancing recovery performance with borrower experience, responsible engagement, and regulatory compliance.
    • Analyze settlement activity with debt settlement companies, monitoring acceptance rates, recovery yield, portfolio trends, and other performance indicators to identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Develop analytics to evaluate hardship program design and performance, identifying opportunities to improve borrower outcomes while reducing repeat delinquency and recidivism.
    • Conduct ad hoc portfolio and operational analyses to address emerging questions from Collections leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, moving efficiently from ambiguous questions to clear recommendations.
    • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, and other teams to translate analytical findings into implemented strategies, processes, and improvements.
    • Clearly communicate analytical insights, strategic recommendations, trade-offs, and performance trends to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
    • Requirements:

      • Bring 3-5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, strategy, or a related discipline, ideally within collections, credit risk, recovery operations, financial services, or fintech.
      • Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of collections and recovery operations, with direct experience in areas such as dialer strategy, third-party agency management, debt sales, debt settlement programs, or hardship programs strongly preferred.
      • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently query, manipulate, and analyze large and complex datasets.
      • Experience developing dashboards and recurring reporting in Tableau or a comparable business intelligence platform, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
      • Proven experience designing, executing, and analyzing test-and-learn initiatives such as A/B tests or operational experiments to optimize business strategies.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to move from raw or ambiguous data to concise, actionable recommendations.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and business implications to senior stakeholders.
      • Highly self-directed and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a fast-paced environment where processes and infrastructure may still be evolving.
      • Strong organizational judgment, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining analytical rigor and execution discipline.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, ideally in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.
      • Familiarity with dialer platforms, digital engagement technologies, fair lending, FDCPA, or other collections-related regulatory considerations is advantageous.
      • Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis or automation is a plus, as is experience managing performance relationships with external vendors or collection agencies.
      • Benefits:

        • Annual salary of $100,000-$120,000 USD for the San Francisco, California market, plus equity and benefits; individual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
        • Competitive stock option plan and overall compensation package.
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including employer-paid options.
        • Flexible PTO policy.
        • Competitive 401(k) retirement plan.
        • Paid parental leave.
        • Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and career development.
        • Health and wellness initiatives designed to support employee wellbeing.
        • Opportunity to work on high-impact financial products and recovery strategies that balance portfolio performance with responsible treatment of borrowers.
        • Collaborative environment with close exposure to Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Product, and senior leadership.
