The position requires deep expertise across low-level programming, reverse engineering, network protocols, and operating system internals.

You will work with sophisticated architectures, binaries, firmware, and security tooling in a mission-focused environment.

Success requires strong adaptability, technical judgment, and the ability to move effectively between evolving operational priorities.

You will contribute directly to the development and deployment of capabilities supporting intelligence and defense missions.

This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving difficult problems at the intersection of systems, networking, and cybersecurity.

Accountabilities:

    • Design and develop custom tooling and specialized technical capabilities to address complex operational requirements and accelerate mission development.
    • Apply advanced C/C++ and inline assembly expertise to low-level engineering tasks involving memory management, pointer arithmetic, and system call interfaces.
    • Analyze binaries, malware, firmware, and compiled software using tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja.
    • Conduct vulnerability analysis and develop proof-of-concept capabilities for identified security weaknesses.
    • Analyze and work across x86/x64 and ARM architectures, including disassembled code and low-level system components.
    • Develop and analyze software operating at the Windows and Linux kernel level, including processes, threads, memory, and system internals.
    • Apply advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S to support network analysis, protocol manipulation, and specialized communications capabilities.
    • Develop and maintain specialized implants, backdoors, beacons, and command-and-control infrastructure in accordance with mission requirements.
    • Perform static and dynamic analysis of software, including analysis of packers, obfuscation, and defensive-evasion techniques.
    • Use network and security analysis tools such as Wireshark, Scapy, Nmap, and tcpdump to investigate protocols and network behavior.
    • Leverage debugging, emulation, exploitation, and fuzzing tools such as Metasploit, pwntools, QEMU, AFL, and related platforms.
    • Build, compile, and maintain software using Git, Make, CMake, GCC, Clang, and cross-compilation environments.
    • Adapt quickly to changing operational priorities and effectively transition between multiple technical challenges and mission requirements.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
      • Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
      • Strong expertise in C/C++, including low-level programming concepts, memory management, pointers, and system interfaces.
      • Demonstrated experience with inline assembly and advanced understanding of x86/x64 and ARM architectures.
      • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system internals, including kernel-mode programming, process and thread management, and virtual memory.
      • Proficiency in reverse engineering and binary analysis using tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
      • Experience analyzing vulnerabilities, binaries, malware, firmware, and compiled software.
      • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, HTTP/S, and network traffic analysis.
      • Experience with implant and driver development.
      • Familiarity with specialized security, debugging, emulation, and fuzzing tools, including Wireshark, Scapy, Nmap, tcpdump, Metasploit, pwntools, QEMU, and AFL.
      • Experience with Git, Make, CMake, GCC/Clang, and cross-compilation toolchains.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently.
      • Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a mission-focused environment.
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams.
      • Benefits:

        • Mission Impact: Work on technically challenging projects supporting critical national security, intelligence, and defense missions.
        • Technical Environment: Exposure to advanced systems engineering, reverse engineering, networking, cybersecurity, and low-level software development.
        • Career Growth: Opportunities to expand expertise while working on complex and evolving technical challenges.
        • Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a people-focused environment where innovation, technical excellence, and individual contributions are valued.
        • Professional Development: Opportunities to develop and apply advanced engineering skills across mission-critical programs.
