Senior Frontend Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Brazil.

This is a senior frontend engineering opportunity within a fully remote, international technology environment focused on cybersecurity.

You will design and build modern web interfaces that help businesses manage complex third-party cyber risk challenges.

The role combines hands-on development with product thinking, requiring you to translate product requirements into clear technical designs and intuitive user experiences.

You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable applications.

The position offers the opportunity to influence frontend architecture while working with modern TypeScript technologies, with a preference for Svelte.

You will join a fast-moving, transparent, and purpose-driven team distributed across multiple countries.

Accountabilities:

• Translate product requirements and PRDs into detailed technical and frontend design documents.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for modern web applications.
• Build clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code using TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive and effective user experiences.
• Apply responsive web design principles and ensure consistent functionality across browsers and devices.
• Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement appropriate security practices, including mitigation techniques for common web vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.
• Investigate and resolve complex frontend issues through effective debugging and structured problem solving.
• Stay current with evolving frontend technologies, frameworks, engineering practices, and web standards.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help identify opportunities to improve frontend architecture, development processes, and product quality.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with at least one modern TypeScript-based frontend framework, such as Svelte, React, Angular, Vue, Solid, or Qwik; experience with Svelte is particularly valuable.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, efficient, and production-ready code.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate product requirements into detailed technical and design documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, design, and engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of frontend initiatives in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
• Experience with web performance optimization techniques is desirable.
• Contributions to open-source projects are an additional advantage.
