Senior iOS Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior iOS Developer based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a fully native iOS application within a technically challenging, end-to-end environment.

You will design and develop new features while helping shape architectural components and maintainability.

The role places a strong emphasis on engineering quality, automated testing, code reviews, and sound development practices.

You will also contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and the continuous delivery process.

As a senior technical reference, you will help raise the team's engineering standards and support the growth of other developers.

Advanced English is required to ensure effective collaboration across teams and with clients.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and evolve features and architectural components for a fully native iOS application.
• Build high-quality, maintainable solutions using Swift and established iOS development practices.
• Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, static analysis tools, automated testing, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.
• Participate in business and technical rituals, contributing to requirements analysis and detailed solution design.
• Support the structuring and evolution of Continuous Delivery practices by facilitating technical discussions and identifying important technical considerations.
• Act as a technical reference for the team, promoting strong programming practices and a results-oriented approach.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the professional development of other developers through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve architecture, development processes, code quality, and overall team effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience in iOS development using Swift.
• Hands-on experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of modular application structures and software architecture fundamentals.
• Experience applying MVVM and other relevant design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, clean and maintainable code, and quality-focused engineering.
• Experience with automated testing and code quality practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Critical-thinking mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of other team members.
• Advanced English for professional communication and collaboration.
